You will partner and interact with other internal functional teams to enhance the employee experience and ensure site and employee performance comply with global standards.**This position is an Onsite Role in San Diego**ResponsibilitiesSupervise the performance of the team ensuring the business and customer needs are metEvaluate daily priorities for team and ServiceNow internal requestsSupport oversight of furniture and move vendors, plan and schedule related activities in collaboration with customer, MAC team and other functional partners.Manage onsite and offsite furniture inventory, budget and forecast for repairs and end of life replacement and address warranty issues as needed.Deliver actionable plans after assessing the feasibility, cost effectiveness and other dimensions of business space requirements such as seating, meeting rooms, functional and other areasOversee IMAYL database to ensure updates and troubleshooting issues with vendor are being addressedProvide physical support to team with moves, package deliveries, pick-ups and other mail service duties as neededIdentify potential blockers in daily workflows, systems and other scenarios; recommend, lead, and support process improvement initiatives in facilities and in collaboration with other groupsEnsure Work Instructions (WI), SOP’s, and department Playbooks are updated regularlyProvide metrics and execute analysis used for decision making by upper managementProvide off hours support for sending out site wide email notifications as neededInteract with vendors and peers in all Business Functional Units to optimize systems and proceduresOversee budget and expense management for direct team. Includes procurement, approval of invoices and tracking budget performance.Monitor and cultivate vendor/supplier relationships to ensure that they are efficiently and effectivelyproviding needed goods and services within budget.Ensure managed spaces are cleaned, organized, and safeStay updated on global/regional policies, regulations and business/market environments; communicate and collaborate closely with partner teams and stakeholders advising as applicableAcquire and maintain a clear understanding of the technologies utilized in Illumina’s processesIn collaboration with Human Resources, oversee and direct all performance management, training, development, and job descriptions for department personnelAll listed tasks and responsibilities are deemed as essential functions to this position; however, business conditions may require reasonable accommodations for additional task and responsibilitiesRequirements: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Facilities Management or related business fields or relevant experience Must have 5 years relevant experience, strategic to Facilities Services preferably with a background in MACExcellent communication, interpersonal and conflict resolution skillsIn-depth knowledge of Archibus Web Central (Integrated Workplace Management System), Service NOW and IMAYL or related systems is a plusWorking knowledge of Steelcase and Herman Miller furniture systems is a plusDemonstrated ability to convene and lead meetings to disseminate information and gather and verify data.Strong organizational skills. Skill at organizing team’s work and priorities. Ability to multitask under pressure, in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and deadlinesProficient in use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, Powerpoint, Access)Must have the ability to prepare and deliver effective presentationsAbility to analyze and resolve problems independentlyAble to stand / walk for long periods of time and lift / move items up to 50lbsValid Driver’s license with clean record                   The estimated base salary range for the Facilities Services Supervisor role based in the United States of America is: $73,400 - $110,200. Should the level or location of the role change during the hiring process, the applicable base pay range may be updated accordingly. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications, location where the role is to be performed, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Additionally, all employees are eligible for one of our variable cash programs (bonus or commission) and eligible roles may receive equity as part of the compensation package.
