That’s why we’re a leader in next-generation cybersecurity—and why more than half of the Fortune 100 trust us as a security partner. The Role: Employee Communication Specialist Location: Sunnyvale, CA The Employee Communication Specialist will be responsible for developing and executing internal communication plans and content that engage, inform, and inspire our employees. This role requires exceptional writing skills and the ability to work collaboratively across various departments. Key Responsibilities Plan and execute communication campaigns to support employee engagement initiatives, company events, and organizational changes Work closely with stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging and to support internal initiatives Maintain the editorial calendar in partnership with teammates and stakeholders, to ensure timely and relevant content delivery Write, edit, and publish a wide range of internal communications across multiple channels, including newsletters, emails, intranet articles, and presentations Project management for creation of engaging multimedia content such as videos, graphics, and infographics Support the upkeep of content on the company intranet, including but not limited to posting copies of companywide communications, replays of meetings, etc.  Serve as a liaison between management and employees to facilitate open and transparent communication Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of internal communication efforts using metrics and feedback Prepare reports and presentations on communication activities and outcomes for senior leadership  You’ll Thrive in This Role If Have… Around 3-5 years of professional experience in employee communications or related field  Experience working across various communication platforms  Flexibility in content creation across a range of channels including (but not limited to) chat channels, email, newsletters, digital signage, and scripts Ability to draft clear, compelling written communications quickly and iterate with others Strong communication, collaboration, researching, and interviewing skills Highly organized, timely, and able to prioritize and manage projects / program communications Ability to build relationships and begin to build influence at all levels  Self-driven, with the ability to deliver, sometimes with limited guidance  Ability to learn unfamiliar or complex subject matter quickly and write about it with clarity Additional skills and familiarity are a plus if you know: Confluence and SharePoint as intranet platforms, how to use imagery to support written messages  Work Environment  Flexibility in working hours may be needed to accommodate global time zones and event schedules.  Presence in the Sunnyvale office is required based on job role demands.  Global experience  Why Proofpoint Protecting people is at the heart of our award-winning lineup of cybersecurity solutions, and the people who work here are the key to our success.  We’re a customer-focused and a driven-to-win organization with leading-edge products.
