Lead Software Engineer

We are looking for a Lead Software Engineer to join our Software Development & Engineering team in Beijing. This is an amazing opportunity on data service to customers and help content team to fill the data gap. The team consists of 15 members is reporting to Senior Manager, Software Engineering.About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishmentsWork closely with the sales team to implement data services, including requirement analysis, solution design, data service development and delivery, etc., and accept short-term business tripsHelp the data analysis team answer the questions raised by sales and customers, and assist the data analysis team to analyze data requirements if requiredResponsible for the technical and commercial management of data sources, help the team explore, discover and introduce new data sources, and requirement negotiation, data sample testing and verification with data sourcesWork closely with the data analysis team to be responsible for the design, development and release for data processing process, as well as the maintenanceSupport other relevant data tasks for the company and the teamIt would be great if you also have . . .  6 years of relevant experienceStrong problem analysis and decision making skills, able to express key points logically and clearlyAbility to write well-structured documents and be good at using diagrams to express designsGood oral and verbal English, able to communicate effectively with international teams in emails and meetingsProficient in at least one programming language (such as Java, C#, Python), at least 5 years of experience in code writing and debugging, with quality and testing awareness, able to write test codeFamiliar with at least one relational database (such as MySQL, SQLServer, Oracle, etc.), familiar with stored procedures, functions, triggers, etc.Familiar with Linux operating systemFamiliar with XML, JSON and other data formatsBachelor’s Degree or equivalent in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.What will you be doing in this role?Familiar with Agile mindset and Scrum process frameworkFamiliar with source code management tools such as Git or SVNFamiliar with the big data area and the Hadoop ecosystemFamiliar with patent related business and dataAbout the TeamSoftware Development & Engineering team are experts in data development and analysis.
