Description Description This person will define, architect, design, implement, deploy, and validate the architectural specifications and bit accurate models for the display pipeline. The candidate will be working with chip and media IP architecture teams and software teams to define, document and implement bit-accurate models used by Design Verification (DV), algorithm validation and software development. The candidate will also be responsible for developing and maintaining tests and software tools to validate the hardware architecture, and developing and maintaining automated workflows for the validation process. Initial work will be to support H19x bit-accurate models and display architectural validation. Minimum Qualifications Minimum Qualifications - BS, MS or Ph.D. in signal processing/image processing or related field required Key Qualifications Key Qualifications Preferred Qualifications Preferred Qualifications - Experienced in C++ and scripting languages such as Lua or Python - Excellent knowledge of digital signal processing and its applications to image processing - Excellent understanding of image quality metrics, and experience performing objective and subjective image quality analysis Education & Experience Education & Experience Additional Requirements Additional Requirements Pay & Benefits Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $58.61 and $88.29/hr, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
