Job Requisition ID #24WD80573Position OverviewAutodesk is looking for a Shift Manager to be assigned to the Autodesk Global Security Operations Center (GSOC). The Shift Manager will report to the Autodesk GSOC Manager, following the direction provided by the Autodesk Global Physical Security Manager. The Shift Manager will work closely with numerous business units and employees that span over 100 offices in 42 countries. This role is onsite at our Denver office.The Shift Manager should be able to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to self-prioritize to meet company safety and security requirements. The Shift manager will be responsible for managing a diverse team of security analysts, acting as the central point of contact for employee admin concerns and safety and security related issues. The Shift Manager will be expected to provide professional guidance to ensure all protocols, policies and standards are applied to the work product within the GSOC. The Shift Manager shall be responsible for but not limited to ensuring that GSOC Analysts continuously monitor access control systems, review CCTV cameras, assess risk intel feeds, examine C-Suite travel, analyze security events and incidents, perform investigations, respond to, and escalate issues as necessary.The Shift Manager should be able to develop procedures, set performance expectations, identify personnel training needs, and provide feedback to enhance GSOC Analyst skills and knowledge. The Shift Manager should possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the aptitude to communicate critical information and make sound decisions during crisis situations to ensure the safety of Autodesk people and assets. The Shift Manager should possess excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment, promoting teamwork, professional growth, and effective communication.The Shift Manager shall place priority on seamless customer service, with a detail-oriented safety and security focused management style. The ideal candidate will be a dedicated safety and security professional with a demonstrated ability to work both independently and as a leading member of a team delivering employee assistance with a professional and positive demeanor.The Shift Manager will work closely with the Workplace Services Team at multiple sites globally. The expectation is the Manager will maintain a high-level of professionalism when dealing with all Autodesk teams, employees, and visitors while leading the internal GSOC Team through exhibiting the service standards and expectations of leadership. The Shift Manager will ensure clear and precise communication to GSOC and Global Physical Security Operations management, regarding any incidents or events that compromise security or safety at any office location globally, as well as for any employees and other Autodesk assets.Responsibilities Manage a team of GSOC Analysts on an assigned shift or during a special assignment/eventManage respective GSOC Analyst performance, compensation, and career development to include internal and external training opportunitiesProvide disciplinary documentation and follow up direction as directed by the GSOC Operations ManagerRequired to be available for 24/7 response to the needs of the GSOC or the GlobalSafety and Security Team (GSS), either through communications or in person depending on the needs of the organizationResponsibility for making critical decisions during times of urgent need by employees or the companyAbility to evaluate data driven reporting provided by the GSOC Analyst on shiftDetermine course of action based on potential threats on urgent matters, with follow up to the GSS Team leadershipEnsure safety and security of Autodesk employees, as well as the physical and intellectual property of the companyMonitors global threats and security related issues for all Autodesk worksites, and remote assigned locationsMonitors and responds to all incident related needs on behalf of the Global Safety and Security TeamRequest local security or law enforcement personnel to respond to an office or worksite during an incidentProvides timely and accurate information on incidents, challenges and/or events that occurUse a visual command center to monitor, coordinate and respond globally to incident response needsCommunicate globally with employees who are at risk, making notifications through the emergency notification systemReports and documents both through written document and/or oral communication, any incident that they have knowledge occurred within the Autodesk global platform, that may have a risk or liability concerning safety or security issues for the office or employee assetProvides virtual deterrence through their professional monitoring of CCTV and alarm signalsCommunicates any safety concern that could cause an injury to employees or visitors within the global portfolioProvides daily activity reports to the Global Physical Security Operations Manager and GSOC ManagerMonitors real-time global emergencies that could impact Autodesk employees or officesMakes appropriate urgent notifications to employees when their safety or security is at riskProvides badge and access level assistance to employees across the company portfolioServes as an important part of the GSOC team in monitoring, analyzing and interpretating risks and threats that may affect the businessAssist employees via telephone, chat, email or through other company approved communication platforms, with any questions or directions regarding access or with any safety/security concerns they may haveAssist the other internal and external teams, with various security and safety requestsAs needed, be prepared to work on special assignments, or other assigned post adjustments for the GSOC's successWork closely with the various assigned WPS site receptionists and other Autodesk internal and contingent teamsHave a clear understanding of the registration and processes used to check-in visitorsAt times, may be directed to provide additional services for special events that are outside the normal schedule assignedAssisting EHS with chemical spill response measures, emergencies, and participating in emergency response trainingPerform other assignments, duties or tasks as assigned by the Autodesk GlobalSafety and Security Team through the Global Physical Security Operations Manager or Global Safety and Security leadershipMinimum QualificationsAbility to effectively lead by example, formulating well thought out responses, bothoperationally and communicatively, to ensure the most responsible and productiveoutcomes from the teamAble to work various shifts, consisting of dayshift, evening shift, overnight shift, flex shift, split-shift, rotating shifts, weekends, and/or holidays within the 24/7, 365 days ayear Global Security Operations CenterAbility and willingness to be activated to respond to company-related security and safety related emergenciesAbility to effectively communicate with Global Safety and Security Team LeadershipPossess and maintain a valid California Guard Card as a condition of employment and prior to being employed by AutodeskPossess or obtain within 60 days, CPR/AED/First Aid certificationMay at times be required to work paid or flexed overtime shifts, to ensure minimal coverage or to provide additional GSOC oversight and operational support during times of crisis, urgency, or emergenciesMandatory Qualifications and Experience4 years or more of experience in a 911 dispatch center, government, or corporate security function3 years of supervisory or managerial experience, preferably within a government or corporate security functionDemonstrate a progressive history of producing and evaluating fact-based reporting and documentationExperience writing and documenting incidents or events in a security or dispatch setting, with a focus on professional deliveryUnderstanding and experience within security industry standards, technologies, and systems (access control, video surveillance, etc.)Strong attention to detailAbility to prioritize tasks and assignmentsFlexibility and adaptability in adjusting to quickly evolving situationsAbility to work well in a fast-paced team environmentAbility to work successfully under stressful conditionsSuperior written and verbal communication skills such as being able to contact, explain and request assistance from emergency services agenciesStrong computer literacy skills, proficient in Microsoft Office
