EMEIA Inbound Logistics are seeking to hire a highly motivated, innovative individual to join the team as a Logistics Analyst. This role is an opportunity for an ambitious individual to utilise their business insight, influencing skills, process knowledge, and analytical abilities to drive efficiency to the Inbound Logistics business and management systems.
In this role, you will work within Inbound Transportation, participating in the management of international carriers to EMEIA for Finished Goods and AppleCare RTMs. The role spans strategic and tactical elements; combining exceptional analytical capabilities with communication and coordination skills to manage shipments through the Inbound supply chain to meet business demands in a fast-paced, and often ambiguous environment with multiple cross functional teams.
Description Description Be the primary support for Apple's Inbound Logistics Operations Team.
Supervise, analyse and report on Inbound shipment status and KPIs.
Run the daily review of shipment handovers from all International product sources, and monitor in-transit status according to prescribed lead times / service Level Agreement.
Review the Logistics Service Providers (LSP) global shipment performance on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly basis, as well as management reporting with the same cadence
Be accountable to internal customer facing and planning departments.
Analyse loss and damage and ensure adequate root cause analysis takes place and effective corrective actions happen
Develop and execute Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) in the logistics network in support of the various business segments and ensure adherence by the LSP
Be responsible for LSP support of New Product Introduction planning and execution. Ensure relevant security procedures and lead times are adhered to prior/during launch
Support the implementation of new operational and systemic requirements from the LSP. Work cross functionally with Regional and WW Ops team to introduce, develop and implement new transportation programs. Liaison between LSP, WW & Regional BPR/OEM to ensure improvement projects are supported and completed effectively and efficiently.
