You will identify insights that influence new strategies for supporting our services. You will also be a hands-on, hard-working expert with analytics tools. Description Description The AppleCare Services Data Scientist analyzes and evaluates Apple Services transactional performance and customer support. In order to do so, you will develop and engineer new data assets and performance metrics to scale the team's analytical capabilities. To extract maximum value from customer data, you will leverage the latest AI techniques to summarize, interpret, and convey the voice of the customer. You will communicate the resulting analyses to audiences of all levels across Apple to influence product changes and enhance the customer experience. Critical to driving change is the ability to instill confidence in the analyses you deliver, so strong communications skills are imperative.
Minimum Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Masters in Data Science, Machine Learning, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science, or MBA with a data science concentration. Industry experience in a Data Science role, in the areas of Data Mining, Machine Learning, or Statistics. Expert level proficiency with Python, and experience implementing Machine Learning algorithms. Expert level proficiency in SQL, preferably with Snowflake. Proficiency in Tableau. Ability to synthesize data from multiple sources to answer business questions with quantitative and qualitative analysis. Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $165,500 and $248,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
