Identity Security Cloud is SailPoint’s Identity as a Service (IDaaS) product, and the Staff DevOps Engineer will be a key player on the Platform team servicing the product suite. They will proactively work with Engineering, Product, Services, and other functional departments to implement and support the infrastructure to build, test, and deploy a global, customer-facing SaaS product suite. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who enjoys a fast-paced job, thrives on problem solving, and is committed to delivering seamless product availability to large enterprises around the world.This role is dedicated to a team focused on CI/CD practices and is tasked to make software delivery amazing for our customers, which are primarily developers and product owners. The team works within the Developer Platform group to provide automation, systems, frameworks, and processes to deliver software quickly, safely, and secure. We also serve as the steward of the SDLC policy to guarantee our build, test, and delivery methods can withstand the audit cycle. You’ll support hundreds of developers, from very mature SaaS to greenfield acquisitions and integrations. You’ll work in a fast paced environment with the smartest engineers and you’ll be part of a thriving and respectful culture that is truly a great place to work.Responsibilities:Build and maintain a resilient, secure, and efficient CI/CD platform to meet established SLAsAutomate deployment, monitoring, management and incident responseMonitor site stability and performance and troubleshoot site issuesManage cross-functional requirements working with Engineering, Product, Services, and other departments.Collaborate with developers to bring new features and services into productionDevelop and improve operational practices and proceduresProactively meet standards for information security and compliance, such as ISO, SOX, SSAE 16, etc.Background & Experience:Experience in 24x7 production operations, preferably supporting a highly available environment for a SaaS or cloud service provider3+ years Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure environments3+ years Experience with KubernetesExperience with build and release tools such as Jenkins, Github Actions, ArgoCD, etc.System administration, system configuration, and system debugging experienceExperience with multiple software languages (Python, Groovy, GO, etc)Strong understanding of system and networking concepts and troubleshooting techniquesStrong interpersonal and teaming skills - ability to set and enforce process and influence engineers who are not direct reports.Ability to operate in an agile, entrepreneurial start-up environmentBachelor's degree in Computer Science or other technical discipline, or equivalent experience is preferred, not requiredTools & Technologies you’ll work with or learn:Jenkins/Cloudbees, ArgoCD, Kubernetes, Github, jFrog, Python, Groovy, Golang What success looks like in this role: Within 30 days you will.....
