Job Requisition ID #24WD80740Responsibilities: Develop, create, and modify general computer applications software or specialized utility programs. Analyze user needs and develop software solutions. Design software or customize software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency. May analyze and design databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team. Form part of the Delivery Platform team under the Customer Platforms & Data Group. Be an integral part of the engineering team focused on building desktop tools that enables various Autodesk product teams to publish their software for cloud-based deployments and installs; these teams are part of the larger Delivery platform that enables download, install, and deployment of Autodesk flagship products like AutoCAD, 3DS Max, Maya, Revit, Inventor, etc. Write and maintain well documented, high quality modern C++ code for multiple projects. Design major software components and features. Work closely with Engineering partners, Product and Project Managers, Product Designers, and DevOps to drive engineering releases and deliver success. Partner with technical support and customer success, while also communicating with customers to troubleshoot product issues and deliver happiness to our users.Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a software engineer-related occupation.Special Requirements: Position requires at least 3 years of experience in each of the following skills:Utilize knowledge of C++ to develop and maintain desktop applications;Utilize knowledge of Java to develop applications;Utilize knowledge of Python for scripting;Utilize knowledge of Jenkins for CI/CD processes;Utilize knowledge of Cmake to build packages;Utilize experience with Agile Methodology;Utilize knowledge of Gtest and junit for writing unit testing;Utilize knowledge of git source control to commit and maintain changes in the repository.Learn More About Autodesk Welcome to Autodesk! For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $162,043 - $190,000/year. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
