Director of Global Travel and TransportationDescription -The Director of Global Travel and Transportation will lead a team of travel professionals in the strategic development and delivery of HP’s Global Travel and Transportation business strategies and enterprise programs. The role encompasses the management of both a strategic procurement function responsible for approximately $250M - $400M in annual supplier spend spanning the Air, Hotel, Ground Transportation, Meetings & Events, Fleet and Travel agency categories, as well as an operations and delivery function supporting more than 35,000 global travelers and credit card holders, 5000 fleet drivers, and 375 Executive and Premium travelers. This position reports directly to the Global Head of Indirect Procurement.The successful candidate will:Manage key Strategic Supplier relationships to ensure quality in service delivery and performance, and partner to design and deliver competitive market strategies, business objectives, and value capture initiativesCoordinate with all supplier delivery partners to drive a best in class program with a deep focus on generating both financial and employee experience value, innovation, process engineering and technologies, exceeding market benchmarks, and developing business critical data and analytics.Lead engagements with Executive leaders across functions to develop cross organizational business objectives and programs such as Finance (EEM), Global Security (Duty of Care), Human Resources (Employee Programs), and Corporate Brand and Communications (Meetings & Events).Provide direct oversight and management of governing Corporate global policies across Fleet, Travel, and Meetings & Events maintaining market competitive and up-to-date guidance, ensuring appropriate and timely communication.Develop and manage employee communication through multiple channels including customer facing websites and push communications such as bi-Monthly Newsletters, Quarterly Administrative Assistant forums, Tuesday Travel Tips, and Global Travel and Fleet Yammer pages.Manage and lead by demonstrating a mastery of HP’s leadership principles, with a heavy focus on strategic planning, growth mindset, innovation, results, consulting, negotiating, managing change, career and employee development, executive engagement, communications, relationship management, motivating, teaming and acting definitively. The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is $150,000.00 -- $220,000.00 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity.
