Your primary role will involve providing exceptional AV support for events, both onsite and virtually. Leveraging your technical expertise, you'll quickly resolve incidents and requests, minimize disruptions and downtime, implement service improvements, and contribute to a stellar end user (Workmate) experience.Join us at Workday, where passion, innovation, and fun come together to create a unique workplace culture!About the RoleThe AV Events and Production Specialist will provide technical support for events and meetings, ensuring detailed operation of audio-visual (A/V) systems. This role involves setting up, maintaining, and solving A/V equipment issues, as well as supporting various media events and training sessions. The specialist will have a solid grasp of VC platforms like Zoom, Neat, and IP networking technologies.Responsibilities:Event Support:Set up and break down audio-visual equipment for meetings and events, including microphones, speakers, and projectors.Provide on-site support during events to ensure smooth operation.Advise and assist participants in the accurate use of A/V equipment.Monitor and handle live streaming and recording of events.Technical Support:Connect and configure Windows and Mac devices with A/V systems.Identify, tackle, and resolve A/V equipment and connectivity issues.Escalate sophisticated technical issues to appropriate support teams or vendors.Ensure all A/V systems operate at peak performance.Teamwork and Communication:Consult with event organizers to understand and meet their technical requirements.Communicate expectations and provide technical mentorship to meeting organizers prior to events.Collaborate with internal support staff, clients, and vendors to ensure high-quality service delivery.Documentation and Knowledge Sharing:Track and detail technical issues and resolutions.Create and update knowledge base articles related to A/V systems.Validate operations against detailed VC standards.General Duties:Maintain and update A/V equipment inventory.Stay ahead of with the latest A/V technology trends and standard processes.Deliver training and support for internal users on A/V systems and tools.About YouBasic:Minimum of 2+ years experience in audiovisual or related field.Strong customer service skills with effective communication abilities.Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.Experience with ticketing systems (ServiceNow knowledge is a plus).Familiarity with VC platforms (e.g., Zoom, Neat).Willingness to travel regionally in EMEA (up to 30%).Other:Certification in A/V technology or related field.Experience in a corporate or large interpersonal environment.Knowledge of IP networking technologies.Understanding of wiring diagrams and signal flow, or willingness to learn.At Workday, we believe every potential recruit brings value to the table.
