Data Centre Critical Facilities Maintenance Engineer(m/w/d)Job SummaryAs a Technical Lead, Critical Facility Engineer at Equinix, you will perform highly skilled preventative and corrective maintenance on critical facility systems. You will lead critical infrastructure operations, closely collaborate with global customers, facilitate vendor selection, and support the team during incidents, changes, in problem solving and maintenance activities. The focus is on complex task handling requiring highly skilled and independent judgement, while contributing to the development of new concepts and techniques for standard operating procedures. Supports the overall team.ResponsibilitiesFacility / Infrastructure MaintenancePerforms highly skilled preventative and corrective maintenance on-site to critical facility systemsSupervises highly skilled maintenance repairs, corrective maintenance, and complex installationsResolves advanced incidents and develops new procedures and techniques to support the overall teamMonitors the Building Monitoring System (BMS) and resolves alarms for complex assignments requiring independent action and a high degree of initiative to resolve.
