Customer Operations and Logistics, Greater Asia DirectorDescription -Job SummaryLead the Greater Asia Customer and Logistics Operations.  Responsible for operational success and integration of activities with other organizational functions wihin Supply Chain and other organizations as Sales Operations. Owns a significant number of measurable functional and operational goals and priorities that impact the overall market.  Assumes responsibility for the successful implementation of business plans. Contributes to the overall strategic definition of a function with strong business acumen.Responsibilities• Leads a team of managers and senior individual contributors for business operations function by setting overall program objectives and ensuring timely and effective execution.• Manages planning, design, implementation, communication and delivery of the company's demand/supply management and business process initiatives across a large business group or region(s).• Actively partners with internal and external stakeholders and/or suppliers on a regular basis, and manages 3rd party relationships.• Drives multi-year strategies and initiatives at the regional/global/business group level by exercising governance oversight in one or more areas (e.g., key policy decisions, resolution of high impact issues, and new product introduction).• Monitors, diagnoses, and drives resolution for any operational issues.• Identifies opportunities to streamline and optimize operational processes across a large business group or region(s), thereby increasing efficiency and reducing costs.• Directs the creation of reports and analysis to inform business plans and gauge performance against set goals.• Manages the allocation of resources, including personnel, budgets, and equipment, to ensure optimal operational performance.• Holds responsibility for talent management and succession planning, ensuring that the appropriate tools and processes are in place to support the team.Education & Experience Recommended• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations management, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.• Typically has 12+ years of job-related and/or management experience, preferably in supply chain, operations, or a related field.Preferred Certifications• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification• Certified Professional In Supply Management (Standards Organizations)Knowledge & Skills• Significant Supply Chain and Operations background• Deep understanding of the market and industry business operations and standards.• Ability to build forward-thinking partnerships with other organizatons within HP ( Sales Operations, Sales, Finance)• Experieced leadership skills, particularly in complex, international, and cross functional teams.• Program management and prioritization skills.• Advanced communication skills, catered to a wide variety of audiences. • Excellent business acumen and understanding of risk mitigation approaches• Deep financial skills.• Ability to manage complex processes concurrently.• Advanced consulting, influencing and negotiation skillsCross-Org Skills• Customer Centricity• Prioritization• Resilience• Team Management• Strategic ThinkingDisclaimer• This job description describes the general nature and level of work performed in this role.
