The ideal candidate has a strong cloud infrastructure background, including familiarity with the AWS family of cloud services, Kubernetes, CI/CD, containerization, and modern software development methodologies, and will thrive in a team-oriented environment. ResponsibilitiesLearn the nCino Mortgage platform and underlying infrastructure.Participate fully as a senior member of a cloud infrastructure team.Independently complete business critical, complex technical tasksProvide careful code reviews with an emphasis on promoting growth in junior team membersAid in defining new standards and processesLead the design, development, and deployment of cross-team, infrastructure-level projectsSpread the understanding of the business domain, and design of the infrastructure for the nCino Mortgage application to other developersHelp develop technical strategies for utilizing new technologies in nCino productsAct as a resource for the knowledge of the technologies (cloud services, tools, frameworks, etc.) used by nCinoFacilitate communication and collaboration across all engineering teamsAct as a technical resource for other areas, sharing general technical knowledge and specific knowledge of the productInteract with customers as needed to support technical conversationsMentor other developers and help them learn to mentor othersBe a great teammate – carry your load, help out, be flexible and adapt easily to changing product needs based on customers and the market QualificationsRequired:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent professional experience6+ years experience or combination experience, education, & superior performanceExpert knowledge in at least one cloud platform language (AWS preferred)Expert knowledge of cloud infrastructure design and developmentProven ability to create enterprise-scale application designs using proven industry patterns and best practicesDemonstrated commitment to quality and continuous improvementMotivated worker with the ability to be productive in a fast-paced team environmentExcellent problem solving, decision-making, and interpersonal skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences Desired:Experienced in DevOps methodologies.Experience with KubernetesPassion for application development If you thrive in a high-energy, entrepreneurial environment, we invite you to share your passion, ideas and excitement at nCino. nCino provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, protected veteran status, disability, genetics or other protected groups.
