As part of the Wallet, Payments, and Commerce (WPC) Finance team, this role is an integral part of the fast-growing and dynamic team supporting over 10 services within the Wallet App, including Apple Pay, Apple Card and Apple Cash. Finance is focused on business forecasting and working with multiple business partners to improve the performance of various initiatives for these very dynamic and rapidly evolving products. The job will entail close partnership with numerous business and functional teams, and will require mastering various financial tasks such as reporting, analysis, systems dynamics, and forecasting. Description Description This is an exciting opportunity that entails the following responsibilities:
- Be part of the WPC Finance team responsible for all financial aspects of Revenue and Cost, partnering with cross-functional business partners including Marketing, Operations, and - Engineering functions to develop, simplify, and/or improve financial processes, accounting treatments, and operational processes.
- Partner with FP&A to ensure accurate forecasting, product profitability, variance analysis, and - Risk and Opportunity assessments across all WPC products for various short-term and long-term, and budget forecasts.
- Manage all aspects of quarter closes, ensuring accurate controllership across various WPC products, mainly through accruals and reclasses. Then, ensure holistic implementation and alignment by actualizing forecasts.
- Contribute to forecasts that reflect the changing macroeconomic environment and internal strategies to aid in improved forecasting across all WPC products.
- Drive systems reporting enhancements, expansion, and reconciliations.
- Support the development of new products, and current product expansion, across all respective global markets.
- Serve as part of the team responsible for educating broader teams about the payments space, including macroeconomic trends and changes that influence our products.
Minimum Qualifications Minimum Qualifications 2+ years of finance experience, or related forecast/planning experience BS/BA or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Key Qualifications Key Qualifications Preferred Qualifications Preferred Qualifications Experience in Fintech highly preferred. Utmost ease performing quantitative and financial analyses in a product & service context; able to work comfortably with incomplete information while dealing with ambiguity. Strong business acumen and high intellectual curiosity with solid interest in Appleʼs products, services, technology, business, and strategy. Extraordinarily detail oriented while able to keep sight of the “big picture.” Passion for automating and improving processes, and drive to adopt latest technology tools at our disposal. Strong Financial Modeling skills knowledge. Intermediate Accounting knowledge preferred. Excellent Excel skills. Tableau, Essbase, SAP and/or SQL knowledge preferred. Outstanding verbal and written business communication skills. Keynote experience preferred. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $107,300 and $161,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
