EMEA Supplies Takeback Operations Program ManagerDescription -The Product Takeback team offers a convenient and free solution for HP B2C and B2B customers to return and recycle their used HP hardware, Inkjet, and LaserJet cartridges through the HP Planet Partners Program. We are seeking a Program Manager to manage takeback operations, lead projects to improve and expand the program in EMEA, and spearhead initiatives to enhance and extend our Take Back services.The goal is to enhance operational capabilities, drive cost reduction, increase efficiency, and implement services in new countries where expansion is required.Main responsibilities:Seamless operational management, in line with HP policies and best practices, to ensure KPI’s, financial results, and other key deliverables are provided with the required quality and on time.Create and execute advanced Take Back solutions, including outsourcing operations, using market and industry expertise.Lead the business reporting projects/initiatives to provide guidance and insights to the management teams on the most important takeback metrics to the team, lead budget planning, monthly cost reviews with understanding of deviations (Actuals vs Budget).Take leadership to identify opportunities for service enhancement and process improvement, lead/develop/execute recommendations, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and cost optimization.Monitor compliance/regulatory requirements of new countries or changes in current countries, working together with the Sustainability team and suppliers.Collaborate with multiple internal stakeholders to define business objectives, develop business strategies and participate in innovative projects targeting product reuse/recycling.Legal knowledge and experience to define supplier contracts (Master Service Agreements, SOW’s), set up Purchase Orders, work with Accounts Payable.As a vendor manager, lead the recycling assessment to evaluate the inclusion of new HP products in the HP Planet Partners Program.Key metrics (Qualitative):Deliver results according to agreed annual goals, track accomplishments quarterly.Run the program/operation smoothly and with minimal escalations.Ensure order management system/processes (e.g. HP Planet Partners web site) and customer experience are in line with expectations. Ensure the service is provided according to agree service-level metrics (e.g. TAT).Manage logistics and recycling suppliers in a collaborative and effective way, ensuring 100% compliance (i.e. valid contracts in place with vendors, in line with HP policies).Program reporting with metrics/statistics and KPI's in place and actively managed/followed up.Prepare and provide the annual budget with required detail and on time.Interlock and engagement with key HP-internal stakeholders.Comply with applicable legal requirements and HP Standards.Education and Skill:Bachelor or Master's degree in Business Management/Operations Management/Engineering.Knowledge of logistics and supply chain management.Knowledge in end-to-end supplier activities such as vendor relationship management, request for quotation, negotiation, vendor selection and onboarding.Ability to manage financial analysis and modelling.Project management skills, including project structuring.Able to learn quickly and adapt well to a rapidly changing environment.Analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills with mastery in English.Be highly organized and a good multi-tasker.Reliability and a strong sense of ownership.Highly flexible, motivated, and focused person.What we offer:Opportunity to work in an international organization with colleagues coming from all over the world.
