Across Australia and New Zealand, we deliver the best all-round entertainment offering, with international headline concert tours, intimate boutique music events, family entertainment, comedy, festivals and much more.The role:As part of the Finance team, the Assistant Accountant assists with the settlements process of concerts and tours across both Australia and New Zealand. You will work closely with the Tour Directors and Promoters ensuring all financial information relating to a tour has been accurately provided to you for further processing.This is a fixed-term position until end of April 2025, with opportunity for extension. Key responsibilities:Ensure accurate GL coding and cash receipting of venue settlementsEnsure invoice Operational approvals compliant with approval limits before approving in invoice workflow platformEnsure all event related invoices saved in tour foldersLoad tour related journals to OraclePrepare end of tour audit checklists to ensure all key tour documentation is held on file for audit purposesPreparation of APRA/PPCA submissions for Tour Director Sign-offLiaise with bank to arrange Cash floats requested by Tour DirectorsActively reviewing settlement process to identify efficiencies/improvementsAdhoc duties as requiredAbout you/requirementsAn excellent communicator and team playerStrong time management skillsAbility to work to deadlines whilst maintaining quality output on a high volume of workYou’re a strong problem solver with an eye for detailHighly proficient in Microsoft Excel and OutlookPrevious experience in an accounting functionWhat do we offer?Ticket perks to our eventsFlexible working environmentHealth & wellbeing activities and programs, including free counsellingInvestment in your personal career development and trainingTo be part of an innovative and exciting business!Sound like the role for you?
