Job Requisition ID #24WD80146Position OverviewWe are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer with experience with graphics engines technologies and the Autodesk Cloud Services platform. You will contribute to the design, integration, and maintenance of Autodesk's graphics engines technologies and help migrate legacy systems onto the Autodesk Cloud Services platform. Your expertise in C++, graphics programming, and performance optimization will promote our software solutions. You will report to the Engineering Manager and will work from Pune location and we also support hybrid workResponsibilitiesDesign and develop graphics software for Autodesk's desktop and cloud-based productsImplement next-generation graphics pipelines, drivers, SDKs, APIs, and toolsWork with teams, including developers, researchers, engineers, designers, and managers, to prioritise programmes and ensure delivery of projectsCommunicate project status, manage resources, and mitigate risksHelp migrate legacy graphics systems onto the Autodesk Cloud Services platform, ensuring minimal change to business continuity and preserving performance, reliability, and compatibilityExplore new graphics technologies, APIs, protocols, and tools to evaluate their feasibility and influence on Autodesk's graphics ecosystemPresent findings to senior engineers and partnersDevelop automated testing suites, validation routines, and monitoring mechanisms to ensure the quality, stability, and performance of graphics engines technologies under different conditions and scenariosMentor junior engineers and foster a culture of learning and improvement within the teamOrganise and participate in training sessions, code reviews, and peer collaboration activitiesMinimum Qualifications5 years in software development, with a focus on graphics-related domainsExpertise in C++ and graphics libraries such as VTK, Vulkan, Metal, OpenGL, and WebGLTrack record in performance optimization and developing scalable applicationsExperience with AWS technologies is desirableCollaboration Experience communicating updates and resolutions to customers and other partners to work with teamsCuriosity about new technologies and a desire to explore new paradigms#LI-SB4Learn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk!
