The Territory Account Representative is a hunter at heart, and often Workiva’s first contact with a prospective customer. The Territory Account Representative possesses the ability to quickly develop a rapport with influencers and decision makers at an executive level, and efficiently spark the curiosity that generates interest in our platform.In this position, the Territory Account Representative partners closely with field sales to drive sales opportunities with both existing and potential new customers across the SEA region. Territory Account Representative accomplish this objective through a variety of strategies such as cold calling, email campaigns, social selling, conference calls, virtual meetings, onsite meetings and referralsWhat You Will Do Partners closely with field sales to develop ongoing engagement strategy with assigned customer and prospect accounts to drive revenue goals Provides baseline research and intelligence within target accounts to identify key contacts and critical account information Prospects into target accounts via cold calling, networking, email, e-marketing, campaigns, and social outreach Qualifies leads and contacts based upon specifically defined criteria to transition meaningful sales leads into the pipelineMaintains active engagement with existing customers & non-customers to increase interest in additional Workiva solutions Maintains good recordkeeping and documentation in Salesforce and CRM systems Drives attendance to various events (webinar, conferences, etc.), and provide post-event follow up Develops and maintains a current understanding of Workiva’s solutions and competitive product/ market knowledge Meets or exceeds quarterly monthly or quarterly goals and metrics What You Will Need Minimum QualificationsAt least 1+ years of related experience in a similar role - preferably in lead generation, sales development or sales prospectingPreferred Qualifications Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with a professional demeanorSelf-motivated with strong propensity for action, results and continuous improvementThe ability to work successfully in a high-energy, fast paced, rapidly changing environmentExceptional organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and manage multiple processes, programs, and procedures simultaneouslyAbility to maintain a high level of activity, and effectively manage competing prioritiesCapable of learning, developing, and integrating skills in an online training environmentExperience with CRM tools - ideally SalesforceProven success in meeting sales goals and metricsTravel Requirement & Working Conditions Up to 10% travel for customer or team eventsReliable internet access for any period of time working remotelyWorkiva is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.  We believe that great minds think differently.  We value diversity of backgrounds, beliefs, and interests, and we recognize diversity as an important source of intellectual thought, varied perspective, and innovation.  Employment decisions are made without regard to age, race, creed, color, religion, sex, national origin, ancestry, disability status, veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression genetic information, marital status, citizenship status or any other protected characteristic.  Workiva is committed to working with and providing reasonable accommodations to applicants with disabilities.
