Join the team and create the future of customer experience together.Job DescriptionJob Title: Sustainable Procurement SpecialistDepartment & Team: Global Procurement OperationsReports to: Courtney LathropLocation: Flexible / VirtualSummary:We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team with a strong focus on sustainability and achieving long-term net-zero targets with our global suppliers. This position will be responsible for managing Supplier/Vendor Accountability.This would be detailed work that would help us increase transparency, while avoiding or mitigating risks. These are very important topics in global businesses, which will continue to be elevated in social governance.Responsibilities may include:Coordinating or managing portal registration/ maintenance projects (and using it to perform the following activities)Reviewing supplier’s/ vendor’s adherence to requirements for conducting business with GenesysCoordinating or managing non-complianceReviewing data for non-compliance and contacting those suppliers/ vendors who haven’t responded or to acquire for missing information.Reporting suppliers/ vendors to the appropriate Genesys team/ member if requests are repeatedly ignored.Coordinating or managing corrective actions – Once established by the cross-functional internal team and communicated to suppliers/ vendors, the Genesys team member (in this new position) would ensure the corrective actions are communicated and trackedReviewing resource requirements Tracking the following metrics:Number and percent of suppliers/ vendors who have signed the Code of ConductNumber and percent of suppliers/ vendors for whom a third-party risk review has been conductedNumber and percent of suppliers/ vendors who have had corrective actions (by type of action)Number and percent of resolved corrective actionsNumber and percent of suppliers/ vendors who have had an on-site audit by:Spend coverageIndustryGeographic locationRisk categoryProduct/ serviceOtherAnalyzing ESG Supplier Survey responsesCoordinating or managing Supplier Diversity updates and certification expiry date process (I didn’t include the D&B based reporting here. We can add it if you’d prefer.)You will generate transparency through the preparation and consolidation of the relevant data. Based on this, you work with the various entities in the group to derive measures to reduce the emissionsYou will develop and operate group-wide networks in close coordination with other processes in the context of sustainabilityYou will run projects for data consolidation and emission reduction in procurement within the group and in collaboration with external partnersYou will introduce the framework for the achievements of sustainability goals You will support the local entities in achieving the sustainability goalsYou will make the CO2 Footprint within the Supply Chain and the comprehensive contribution towards Group sustainability targets visiblePlaying a consultative role in responsible and sustainable procurement: carrying out competitive, environmental, regulatory and normative monitoring (ISO 26000, ISO 24000...); conducting supplier surveys to develop the company's sourcing, quality and traceability approaches; supporting the operational divisions in decision-making, in accordance with pre-determined CSR commitmentsActing as an internal ambassador: raising the teams' awareness of the importance of the company's CSR policies and its challenges, encouraging positive steps in-house and with suppliers, promoting socially and ecologically responsible public procurement (e.g. the SPASER strategy)Other responsibilities as assignedMinimum QualificationsDegree in Sustainability/ProcurementAt least 5 years of related experienceCommitted to driving sustainability in the supply chain and procurementCreativity, analytical thinking, communication skills and intercultural competenceStrong project and process management capabilitiesStrong analytical skills and the ability to work with large and complex data setsKnowledge of handling compliance and sustainability, consequences, impacts and considering them in the procurement processHands on experience using systems such as Workday, EcoVadis, Cvent, Concur, etc.Excellent PC skills (Microsoft Office) including ability to enhance existing processes to assist in reporting / data analysis and presentationStrong people skills to support remote users effectivelyStrong analytical skills geared towards troubleshooting, with the ability to solve complex problems using simple solutionsCommunication skills; ability to communicate effectively both verbally and with written communicationsCapable of managing multiple projects and competing requirements with good time management skillsGood understanding of business processes in the Technology domainIf a Genesys employee referred you, please use the link they sent you to apply.About Genesys:Every year, Genesys orchestrates billions of remarkable customer experiences for organizations in more than 100 countries.
