The Global Business Solutions (GBS) platform integrates resources and capabilities and anchors our operating model around the customer to deliver value and experiences beyond transactional services and financial activities for Apple. Beyond economies of scale and cost optimization in handling much of the core data across customers and functions, GBS continues to incorporate automation, visualization, analytics, and other digital tools and emerging technologies into existing operations to identify relevant information and actionable insights that create value. We are looking for an exceptional, collaborative, commercially oriented, and customer-focused Senior leader who embodies our culture and values to lead the GC GBS H2R function. This role requires unwavering integrity, ownership, accountability, superior judgment, analytical acumen, and the ability to dive deep and operate at all levels. The H2R function’s objective is to provide administrative and operational support for Pay, Benefits, Workforce Management, Equity and Business Travel Compliance for Apple’s People and Finance team. H2R provides operational feedback on how a business performs, enabling key People and Finance management to base decisions using credible information. Description Description You will play an integral role in ensuring Apple’s Workforce Management strategy and execution. You will partner with the Program Team to ensure a robust strategy and work with them to deliver Apple’s Workforce Management including Time, Attendance and Scheduling solutions to Apple’s employees. You will manage and maintain Apple’s Workforce Management solutions ensuring that there is robust controls and the right Production Support Partner with key business partners like Retail Scheduling, Legal, ER and others to support their Workforce Management requirements; You will be considered the Global Business Solutions (GBS) leader in Bangalore; Prioritize talent management by defining the structure and skills required to thrive in a complex, fast-growing, fast-paced, and results-driven environment. Encourage employees to learn, be curious, think creatively to focus and simplify, and turn complex compliance requirements into scalable solutions. You are resourceful and effective at managing multiple priorities while creating space for original thinking and thoughtful analysis. Commercially astute and analytically adept, with a deep understanding of Apple’s business lines, including critical functions and processes, growth drivers, potential risks or opportunities, to inform or advise business partners to make a range of strategic and operational decisions. Collaborate with teams globally to enable more effective investment strategies and efficient risk management. You move fast while keeping your attention to detail yet maintaining a big-picture perspective. Be H2R’s regional lead, managing and supporting escalations from the regional business partners and leading solutions for H2R within regions across different teams to ensure our employees are supported Partner with the R2R Global Process Owner and regional leaders and peers to strategize, drive consensus, and develop standardized systems, processes, and tools to support global and local needs. Shape a team-driven culture to better leverage scale and create synergies, including clearly defined roles and responsibilities to form an efficient organization, share best practices, and streamline processes to minimize handovers across multiple teams. Identify critical roles and individuals and focus retention strategies and contingency plans around them. You will dig deep into your team’s work details, ask probing questions, and ensure adequate and timely root cause analysis to understand problem drivers and implement necessary corrections or changes.
