Senior Financial System Analyst - Revenue DesignDescription -Job SummaryDescription -The Revenue Design team is part of the WW Finance Technology Organization and is responsible for implementing Integrated and compliant Revenue solutions on S4 Hana/Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR) as per US GAAP and at times various Local GAAP.This role involves awareness of HP Policies on Revenue as per AFM (US GAAP) and Local legal requirements, Understanding Business scenarios in scope & Current system landscape, implementing Revenue solutions that meet standards and propose enhancements for deviations. This role also involves extensive collaboration, and communication with several stakeholders like CFR, BU Fin, Controllership, FGO, HPIT, Business teams, Revenue Deep Support and various teams within Finance Technology organization.The key responsibilities as a Revenue Design team member includes:Revenue System Design across Simplify, MADO and FinTech Projects.The role will manage multiple portfolios including but not limited to Hardware, Care pack, MPS/ DAAS Contractual business, Software, Spare Parts/Warranty, etcProvide E2E visibility & traceability of transactions for Orders/Contracts/RevenueImplement Revenue Reporting capabilities on BI/S4 Hana for Internal reviews and External complianceMigration of Legacy systems to S4 Hana/ RAR and ensuring no Revenue leakage.Act as the interface between IT and Finance functionsSystem Enhancements / Customization to meet HP specific needsDevelop Rev Rec expertise on HP Policies and procedures, AFM and AccountingProvide ongoing support and training to finance teams on Revenue Design and process understanding.Enable SOX Audit walkthroughs and completion of revenue controls.Provide technical guidance to ensure accuracy of Revenue and smooth Month end CloseIdentify opportunities for Process improvements and engage in design changes.Education and Experience Required:First level university degree with a focus in business or accounting; advanced degree or accounting certification (e.g., Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Master of Business Administration (MBA) beneficialTypically, 10+ years of experience as a financial analyst.Experienced preferred in Software Revenue or Revenue functionAdvance knowledge preferred in System S4 Hana / RARExperience preferred in multiple Finance functionsKnowledge and Skills Required:Leads complex process design and re-design large projects from beginning to endExcellent understanding of Accounting principles, Accounting, and financial analysisStrong analytical and business application skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Power BI)Excellent communication, teamwork skills including the ability to work effectively cross-functionally and cross-departmentStrong business acumen and project management skillsFuturistic, ability to think aheadLearn – Work – Lead –Can do attitudePreferred CertificationsCPAKnowledge & Skills• Agile Methodology• Automation• Business Analysis• Business Process• Business Requirements• Business Systems Analysis• Data Analysis• Finance• Process Improvement• Project Management• SAP Applications• Systems Analysis• User StoryCross-Org Skills• Effective Communication• Results Orientation• Learning Agility• Digital Fluency• Customer CentricityImpact & Scope• Impacts large functions and leads large, cross-division functional teams or projects.Complexity• Provides highly innovative solutions to complex problems within established policy.Disclaimer• This job description describes the general nature and level of work performed in this role.
