The Automotive Vehicles team is searching for a creative and expert Systems Integration & Test Engineer to help us bring NVIDIA's autonomous vehicle solution out to the world. You will participate in a focused effort to develop and productize ground-breaking product solutions that will redefine the world of transportation and the growing field of self-driving cars. You will work with a team of AI applied researchers and engineers in building a full autonomous vehicle stack, while achieving or exceeding all meaningful NVIDIA and automotive standards & guidelines. We have real customers and competition - come join us to adapt quickly and test things!What you will be doing:Develop and improve existing software integration testing for NDASTriage, debug and create urgent fixes for complicated system integration issuesDevelop and lead integration test frameworks; from framework design to easy test creation tooling and eventually strategy for testing at scale for integration coveragePartner with SIL & HIL development engineering to highlight tooling gaps in existing test frameworks and testing harnessesPartner with NDAS development teams to bridge the testing and evaluation gapsPartner with safety and V&V to enable test coverage for product releaseWhat we need to see:BS, MS, or PhD in Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or another related field or equivalent experience12+ years experience in test engineering, robotics, large scale architecture management or systems engineeringExcellent programming skills in C++, C and Python along with source control tools like Git, Perforce etcExpertise in reviewing C++ software changes quickly, strong ability to connect the dots between the various parts of the software stack and list out impact/risk of the changesProven expertise in crafting triage and debug tools using C++, C & PythonExperience with Linux, QNX or other real-time operating systems, GPU, Sensor technologies towards image processing, computer vision, and multimedia are valuedKnowledge about system programming, threading, mutex, synchronization, communication, and parallel computing to build highly scalable and efficient applicationsStrong debugging abilities in highly pipelined software and operating systemsExperience with integrating and debugging large scale software in Automotive Vehicle and/or Robotic SystemsDemonstrated past experience in software integration across sophisticated software stacks and drive to productizationStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to drive test design alignment across multiple groups5+ years of experience working with, or on, CI/CD, VnV, and/or development testing programsWays to stand out from the crowd:Worked with autonomous vehicles and/or machine learningKnowledge with ROS like middleware SW and real-time OSExperience compute performance measurement tooling and profilersExperience working with simulators and crafting both SIL & HIL testsWorked with start-ups and/or early-stage productsThe base salary range is 220,000 USD - 339,250 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
