Under the leadership of the Vice President & General Manager for Europe and International Markets, the team is dedicated to bringing innovative strategies and initiatives to these regions, such as the Global Consumer-to-Consumer (C2C) initiative. This role requires an extremely seasoned finance leader who will be supporting a wide range of strategic analysis, decision-making, and financial reporting for the Europe and International Markets teams. This is a delivery-focused role through leading a talented team. The role is responsible for markets that drive over $3B of Annual Revenue powered by a multi-regional team.  The work in this organisation is strategically important to the business with significant operational growth riding on the success of that team.What you will accomplish: Partner with the leaders to develop and drive strategy for Europe and International Markets. This includes defining the targets and underlying metrics to drive the business, while looking for cost efficiencies and managing expenses within the business.Build and develop easily consumable frameworks for translating product strategy into measurable financial reports; providing key insights and supporting faster decision making.Lead all aspects of short and long-range financial planning and headcount allocation.Contributing to potential M&A activity and collaborating with the Business, Strategy & Corporate Development team in any Build/Partner/Buy analysisDeliver monthly and quarterly analysis and reporting of the business' financial results including variances to plan, ensuring key issues, risks, and business drivers are understood and highlighted; Proactively engage in working with the business to make trade-offs.Manage, encourage, develop and continue to grow a high-performing team that supports these existing organisations.Partner with the broader Finance team, as well as other stakeholders on cross-functional initiatives.What you will bring: Advanced degree in Business, Accounting or Finance or equivalent experienceExperience leading a global finance function with a preference for ecommerce experienceTrack record of close partnership with C-suite/senior level executives and ability to influence and help lead the businessExperience working cross-functionally, both inside and outside of Finance, to collaboratively develop business and investment plans Highly analytical with excellent problem-solving skills and ability to use data and insights to drive decisions.Extensive experience aligning investment of resources against a company's business strategy and objectivesAbility to translate complex business operating models and operational indicators into financial performanceSolid knowledge of the P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow and GAAP principlesStrong leadership skills with history of attracting talent and developing and motivating teams Excellent verbal and written communications skillsPlease note: this role will be based in Bern, Switzerland with extensive travel across Europe and occasional travel to the US. #LI-SI1Please see the Talent Privacy Notice for information regarding how eBay handles your personal data collected when you use the eBay Careers website or apply for a job with eBay.eBay is an equal opportunity employer.
