Team Lead, Software Engineering

#hybrid - Antwerp We are looking for a Team Lead Software Engineering to join our Trademark Content team in Antwerp. This is an amazing opportunity to work on Clarivate Trademark product. The team consists of 11 developers and is reporting to the Current Team Lead. We have a great skill set in Java development, SpringBoot applications and we would love to speak with you if you have skills in both Java development and People Management. You’ll be working together with other teams relying on the Trademark content being provided to them.  About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments  At least 5 years of experience in Java development and SQL databases At least 2 years team management At least 2 years of experience working in Linux environment Education (Bachelor's degree in computer science, mechanical engineering, or related degree or at least 4 years of equivalent relevant experience)  It would be great if you also had . . .  Previous experience with MongoDB Previous experience with AWS cloud services Experience working in Scrum Development process Education (master’s degree or PhD)  What will you be doing in this role? Lead technical discussions, facilitate code reviews, and drive innovation. Oversee day-to-day operations and lead a team of colleagues Actively involved and hands-on with writing clean, maintainable code Regularly evaluate team performance, and technical capabilities, provide colleague feedback Implement design changes to improve quality, performance, cost reduction, etc. Plan, delegate and direct the team’s day-to-day work to achieve operational targets   Product you will be developing  Maintain existing code base. Ingest Trademark Content from countries all over the world. Other Clarivate teams are using this content in their products  About the Team The team is geographically spread out.
