Software Engineer

We are seeking a Software Engineer to join our Books division in India. In this role, you will participate as a team member on various engineering projects with the opportunity to make a difference in the project direction. If you are proficient in C# and SQL and are excited about the prospect of working in an agile development team, we would love to speak with you. This role will be reporting to the Lead Software Engineer.About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishmentsBachelor’s degree in a related field such as Computer Science.1+ years of experience developing applications in C#.net.1+ years of experience working on relational databases such as SQL Server or PostgreSQL.1+ years of experience with API development.Be proficient in Software Version Control using Git.It would be great if you also had . . .Experience with technologies such as Jenkins.Experience developing cloud-native applications in AWS.What will you be doing in this role?Work within an Agile framework to design, write code, test, and implement features according to design specifications.Examine business requirements received from the Product Team and assess the feasibility of software implementation.Partner with other engineers and teams including QA during the development process.Maintain, improve, and integrate existing components and applications.Conduct code review.Provide input in technical decisions and solutions.Build technical documentation.Product you will be developingEbook CentralAbout the Team  This is a team based in India consisting of both junior and experienced software developers.
