Job Summary:THE JOB FP&A Manager  - 12 month FTC - Maternity coverReporting to the Director of Finance, the FP &A Manager will be responsible for the overall running of the various systems used by the finance function. Ensuring timely and accurate execution of all strategic reporting obligations of the Irish business you will be looking at the future projections for the business in the short and medium term.  This will involve continuously looking forward and assessing how the business will meet its objectives and understanding how the business is evolving.    The ideal candidate is reliable, efficient and thrives in a challenging, fast-paced environment. Knowledge or passion of the music/entertainment industry always a plus.  As a member of the Finance Team, you will be partnering with all areas of the business and interacting with many different stakeholders. You will gain an in-depth understanding of the day to day running of the department and oversee the daily accounting and financial reporting activities of the business. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING This role has end to end ownership of the strategic planning, budgeting and forecasting for the business and challenging and improving the systems we use which includes:FinancialLiaising with existing sports clients re ongoing client settlement queries - resolving in a timely fashionDeal analysis and support for new and existing client contracts.Review of monthly performance of all areas of Ticketmaster Ireland businessMonitoring Capex spend for all assets and liabilities, including fixed asset base.Provide detailed analysis of deal spend to date (capex, revenues and opex) against budget and forecast to budget holder.End to end ownership of the financial statements for one LN entity to include monthly transaction posting, balance sheet reconciliations, VAT, Statutory reporting & dealing with auditors.Preparation and submission of monthly, quarterly and ad-hoc ticketing metrics to TM InternationalStrategicDeveloping additional, relevant accounting controls both system and non-system.Preparation and review of annual budget and monthly re-forecasting reporting.Preparation and review across functions and territory of strategic plans for submission to CorporateSpecial project work relevant to Ticketmaster Ireland e.g. new settlements system, implementation of new HOST developments, payment, products and regulatory requests.OtherPrimary point of contact for all systems queries and issuesSupport the Finance Team in dealing with external and internal auditors as systems queries arise.Client relationship building / strengthening.Identify, test and implement modifications to financial systems to both streamline current processes and develop new processes.Awareness of all significant financial issues and problems and assist with their subsequent speedy resolution where necessary.Complete and/or oversee ad/hoc requests as required.WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (or TECHNICAL SKILLS)ACA/ACCA/CIMA Fully Qualified accountantIT Proficiency a must, previous experience working with ERP systems such as Oracle a plusExperience of monthly reporting to tight deadlinesExperience of working in a multi-division and international company preferredPrevious knowledge working with various accounting packages and in house software packages a real plus in particular Excel.  Previous experience with Oracle would be advantageous.Solid analytical and reasoning abilitiesExperience of SOX audits desiredStrong communication, organisational and leadership skills requiredCommercially astute with strong analytical skillsStrong problem-solving skills including the ability to identify and prevent potential problems, as well as challenge and improve existing processes.Strong attention to detail and Vast knowledge of accounting standardsHighly motivated and dynamic – ability to work to deadlines and achieve targets in a time-conscious mannerProfessional appearance and attitudeYOU (BEHAVIOURAL SKILLS)  Proactive attitudeDemonstrable passion for the Company missionAn ongoing interest in solving and improving financial issuesHands-on with integrity and a desire to work in a dynamic environmentCommunicative: the ability to explain numbers to non-financial staffCommercial sensibility and business acumenPossesses excellent organisation and time management skills, and is able to manage multiple assignments concurrentlyLIFE AT TICKETMASTERWe are proud to be a part of Live Nation Entertainment, the world’s largest live entertainment company.Our vision at Ticketmaster is to connect people around the world to the live events they love.
