This role will involve establishing the processes and managing the performance of multiple supply chain programs to ensure our buyers and sellers have access to a market leading proposition. The successful candidate will be analysing data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can drive operational improvements and cost efficiencies. They will be required to proactively identify trends, report on these and work with our third parties to improve customer experience. They will also be conducting ad-hoc analysis to support decision-making and provide actionable recommendations. All these activities should culminate in delivering improvements in the seller and buyer experience on the eBay platform.Key responsibilities:Establish mechanisms for tracking, monitoring and improving carrier performanceCollaborate with 3Ps to forecast volumes and capacity requirements (over peak periods).Define contingency plans to ensure service levels are maintained during high-demand/force majeure periods.Monitor and manage supplier invoices to ensure billing accuracy and resolve discrepancies.Drive continuous improvement by working with 3P to optimize processes and enhance service levels.Execute promo activities and ensure 3Ps are prepared to support with the necessary resources.Complete competitor analysis of the Shipping proposition to ensure eBay are competitive/market leadingCreate and raise Purchase Orders / Project SheetsSkills:Adept at collaborating with partners and managing relationships to drive business success.Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, review and evaluate data to drive informed decision makingExcellent communication skills, capable of engaging with senior management and cross-functional teamsDemonstrated experience in e-commerce, logistics or retail#LI-CD1Please see the Talent Privacy Notice for information regarding how eBay handles your personal data collected when you use the eBay Careers website or apply for a job with eBay.eBay is an equal opportunity employer.
