Join the team and create the future of customer experience together.Position Overview: The Agile Project Manager will be responsible for leading and managing the development of our cloud software projects using agile methodologies. This role requires a data-oriented mindset, a deep understanding of agile principles, excellent project management skills, and an ability to track metrics and report on results.Key Responsibilities:Monitors team processes and creates a sustainable and universal approach.Tracks team progress, key metrics, maintains reports on velocity and adjusts plans and processes.Communicates project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders, including senior management.Facilitates the planning and execution of software development projects from inception to delivery.Ensures project goals are met on time and within scope.Collaborates with product owners, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.Works closely with the product owners to maintain well-groomed and prioritized product backlogs.Proactively tracks potential roadblocks to project success.Provides transparent and accurate project updates to management.Facilitates agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives and reports findings to management.Fosters a collaborative and high-performing team environment through effective agile practices.Continuously improves agile processes and practices within the team.Actively coaches teams, individuals and managers and provides guidance through team and organization processes.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management or a related field.3+ years experience as an Agile Project Manager, Scrum Master or similar role in an IT software development environment.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.Flexibility regarding working with multiple time zones (US, Ireland).Strong understanding of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) and agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Certification in agile project management (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), PMI-ACP) is a plus.Experience with cloud software development and AI technologies is an advantage.What do we offer?The warmest of welcomes: we will make sure you feel part of the Genesys team from day 1The best of both worlds: the stability of a multinational company and the flexibility and speed of a startup companyAn A-team: talented and experienced professionals you can grow professionally with and an open & inclusive community Flexibility: office, remote or hybrid?
