It is deployable in VMware, Baremetal, Azure, Aws, GCP and Openstack. The requisition involves working in the following areas which aide the Datapath aspects of Application Load Balancers.Datapath Platform Infrastructure Team is responsible for Application Load Balancing, IP Networking based on BSD and DPDK aspects of Datapath. The primary focus will be on the development of features based on DPDK, Drivers, IP BSD Stack for VMware Avi-LB, which is deployed across multiple cloud platforms.Most of the implementation is based on C, C++, Python/GoLang, Linux, Networking, Cloud Infrastructure, Docker/Linux. Job Role and Responsibility:Code in C, C++ for most of your day with a working knowledge of Python.Design and Develop Datapath features for Avi LB in various areas such as core IP stack BSD, DPDK Drivers, Application load-balancing and Networking features/protocols such as TCP/UDP, NAT, BGP/BFD, Network security etc.Design and Development of Avi-LB’s Platform & Performance Infrastructure projects by adhering to the cloud and distributed networks native design principles.Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance server-side applications, multi-cluster/multi-cloud work flows and define industry roadmaps for adoption.Take ownership of your design and development activity by resolving bugs found in unit testing, system testing and customer deployments and develop low latency and high performance solutions with fully automated test suites.Work independently and effectively within and across teams Required Skills:8–12 years of Industry experience in the relevant domain.B.Tech. and/or M. Tech Computer Science with good academic recordGood working knowledge on Fundamentals of Networking (BSD Stack), TCP/IP stack, DPDK framework.Expert at C/C++ and their relevant frameworks.Strong fundamentals in computer programming, data structure, & algorithms.Expertise in system design & architecture patterns especially in distributed systems and de-coupled architecture.Working knowledge on VMware VCenter, VMware ESXi and VM management and Container technologies: Docker.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong interpersonal skills — must be able to work effectively as part of a project or program team and foster team cooperation.Must be able to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical personnel.Self-motivated, with the ability and interest to learn new technologies and adapt quickly to new requirements.Broadcom is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
