As a key member of the leadership team, the Director Business applications and Quality will collaborate closely with other leaders in IT and business functions to optimize application value, and ensure the security, quality and compliance of our application landscape. The position requires a technical background in business applications, project/program management, an ability to manage vendor relationships and lead support teams that will help the organization achieve and maintain a stable and responsive portfolio of applications. Strategic leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for business applications that supports our organization’s business goals and objectives. In collaboration with the product management team, carry out buy-build-customize analyses and develop plans to operationalize the results. Team leadership and development: Lead, mentor and develop a successful team of IT professionals. Foster a culture of innovation, excellence and ongoing improvement. Operational excellence: Safeguard the reliability, availability and performance of our enterprise applications. Implement governance, standard methodologies and metrics for application lifecycle management, including development, release management, change control, maintenance and supportRisk management and compliance: Work with our internal security and governance teams to ensure Business Applications follow all relevant laws, regulations and industry standards. Lead all aspects of risk management processes to identify, assess and mitigate risks associated with applications. Quality Assurance : Continuously enhance QA methodologies, tools, and frameworks to optimize efficiency and accuracy. Establish standard methodologies for Test Strategy, Test Plan and Defect Management, and Automation. Own and lead delivery of all testing efforts and ensure timeliness and quality About YouTechnical expertise: In-depth knowledge of enterprise application platforms and Quality Assurance.
