Community and open-source software are at the heart of everything we do at Grafana Labs. As a Developer Community Programs Specialist , you will support our team’s engagement with the open-source and developer communities.  In this role, you will help implement and execute programs that empower community members to be successful with Grafana Labs projects. You’ll also help facilitate connections between community members and guide internal teams on how to best engage with the community. The attributes needed for this role include communicator, empathetic, resilient, problem-solver, organizer, and collaborator.  Key Responsibilities:  Lead, with guidance, the development of regional community strategies to grow the Grafana community  Organize events such as meetups with the willingness to travel up to 30% of the time Support and develop engagement programs and processes to serve the growing Grafana community better Connect with the Grafana community through online and in-person channels Build relationships with internal teams to enable them to contribute to the community through different activities   What you’ll bring to the role:  2+ years of experience supporting developer communities across a global, regional, and local setting.  2+ years of experience organizing events such as meetups and conferences  Meaningful and compassionate relationship-building skills, especially with community members and affinity groups  Experience leading a project with creative and thoughtful approaches to program execution and process improvements  Ability to coordinate a wide range of incoming requests and opportunities   Analytical and research skills to understand and share the needs and health of the community Comfort working autonomously and being proactive in a distributed environment  Willingness to help solve problems and provide feedback from the community to the company  Must be located in the United Kingdom  Bonus points:  Familiarity or experience in the open source community  Understanding or experience in the observability community  Familiarity or experience with Grafana Labs technology  Proficiency in additional language(s) In the United Kingdom, the base compensation range for this role is GBP 52,000 - GBP 63,000.  Actual compensation may vary based on level, experience, and skillset as assessed in the interview process.
