This unique role requires a person who thrives in a fast-paced, highly dynamic environment and can adapt to a variety of challenges. This role requires travel to trade shows, product launches and even working behind the scenes at our CEO’s Keynotes.What you'll be doing:Lab and Event Support:Manage, drive and autonomously provide event and tradeshow technical support for Marketing events such as CES, GPU Tech Conference and product launch eventsConduct system builds, maintenance, imaging, testing and benchmarking for various OS and HW platformsPerform QC and maintenance of inventory and equipmentCollaborate with multiple business orgs such as Marketing, Engineering and Sales for product testing, demos and coordinationMaintain and update asset tracking system, system logs, playbooks and Google / SharePoint sites with inventory of systems, displays, peripherals and componentsCollaborate with external partners and vendors for HW recommendations and system buildsSet-up, test and troubleshoot network connectivity on ad-hoc networks / LAN / WIFI at eventsTest, prep and demo hardware and devices with NVIDIA's newest technology and productsEnsure Events and Demo service requests are responded to and closed in a timely manner in accordance with SLAInitiate and drive Event Tech Ops projects and process improvementsPlan, coordinate, and actively participate in meetings with business units and vendorsKeep lab space and respective equipment well organized and systematicDemo Support:Provide support, installation of hardware / software and recommendations on various system platforms (PCs, Servers) and devicesProvide quick responses and maximum uptime of all users and systemsBe actively involved in coordinating and testing software patching and configuration toolsCollaborate with users and groups on tech aspects of physical / digital events such as optimal system performance and digital platform recommendationsCreate a high level of user satisfaction through accurate and timely follow-upStrong technical skills, good customer service and relationship buildingPlan for contingencies and demonstrate the ability to transition quickly between multiple technical issues - Solve problems with time frames in minutes or hours, not days or weeksWork with other Marketing and Product personnel / groups for issues, knowledge transfer, joint tasks and to establish standards, procedures and projectsWhat we need to see:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with 5 years of experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while multi-tasking and executing on multiple deadlinesWindows 11, Office 365, Linux / Ubuntu, Mac,  Android support experience is a requirementVM / Virtualized environment support experience – server setup, maintenance, VM config, troubleshooting, automation, scriptingSupport experience with MSFT environment, Exchange / Outlook, Office 365, Teams, SharePoint and Google Docs experienceProject Management / Team Lead experience is a plusKnowledgeable with Audio / Visual setups and current technologies and standardsWAN/LAN, WIFI, and Remote Access (VPN), Cisco Networking knowledge and support experience – CCNA, CCNP is a plusExperience with Acronis, Bitlocker / Encryption, Teams, Zoom, SlackSystem and Server building expertise, HW troubleshooting, SBIOS and VBIOS config experience for optimal system performanceFamiliar with Furmark, 3DMark, Unigine and other PC benchmarking software programsAbility to travel up to 40% (local and international) for event setup, support and teardown (up to 14 day increments)Need to be able to lift / move objects in excess of 40 lbs on a frequent basis and possess an active CA driver license (transportation of items to local events)Ways to stand out from the crowd:Flexibility to adjust to changing requirements, schedules and priorities. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
