We build tools and documentation that boost efficiency, happiness, and community for internal UI developers at Workday. We accelerate developer velocity, pave the road to production, and set standards for the UI developer experience at Workday.Team Quantum plays a pivotal role in coordinating hackathons, supporting internal developer conferences, and building a strong engineering community in Workday that we can all be passionate about.Our responsibilities include implementing high-impact, future looking foundational architecture and frameworks ranging from core UI frameworks to core infrastructure that enables existing and future innovations for product teams at Workday. We’re passionate about creating elegantly designed, well-documented tools that enable engineers to build exceptional experiences used by millions of users. We partner closely with product teams across Workday to help deliver solutions which make UI development efficient and enjoyable.About the RoleWe are looking for an engineer to continue to iterate on a great developer experience for UI developers. This role will have a tremendous impact across the entire developer community at Workday. Engineers on our team will be enhancing the developer experience by building scalable libraries, frameworks and infrastructure to level up developer productivity at Workday. We are open to hiring a mid-level Software Development Engineer or Sr Associate Software Development Engineer, depending on the skills and qualifications of the candidate.ResponsibilitiesProactively and independently identify efficiency issues for developers and the businessRapidly iterate on high-quality frameworks and tools that improve developer successInfluence Workday's technical direction through tooling, public speaking, and outreach.
