Build a next generation recommender system using state of the art ANN (Artificial Neural Network) frameworks, NRT/backfill pipelines, product inventory graph, and knowledge graph. Design, develop and deploy complex software applications in C++, deliver highly performing, low latency, robust code with high test case coverage, continuous integration, and production monitoring. Write modern, high-performance C++ distributed systems code deployed under Linux. Utilize sophisticated lock-free programming techniques and custom allocators to squeeze every last drop of performance out of eBay's servers. Triage and debug software production issues. Participate in engineering design and software code reviews. Follow agile practices and focus on continual improvement of practices, driven from the ground up; advocate for improvements in software code and culture, and support colleagues in the same. Work closely with every core software product domain on feature and architecture implementation. Utilize knowledge of and experience with designing, building, refactoring, and releasing software written in modern C++.
