Improve the end to end experience at eBay for both buyers and sellers as a member of the Shipping team. Take ownership and collaborate closely with peers, architects, product managers, operations team in order to design and develop new functional requirements for post order shipping and multi leg orders, which includes Post Sales Authentication, Exports 2.0, Ebay Vault, Pick Up and Drop Off orders. Involved in the development, testing, deploying, debugging and documentation of the services and pools. Deliver high performing, low latency, robust code with high test case coverage, continuous integration, and production monitoring using languages such as java, java spring, python, node.js, react.js. Participate in technical design and code reviews by providing feedback to other engineers on the team and thereby contributing to better design decisions and increasing the software standards within and across the team. Work on improving the development velocity within the team by adopting various tools and techniques to enhance the end to end time in the development life cycle. Add end to end pipelines for all the pools that are owned by the team with proper alerting and monitoring mechanisms. Work on investigating the on call tasks and asks by getting familiar with the tools and resources available, figuring out vulnerabilities and fixing the same. Participate in interviewing and onboarding new members in the team. Partial telecommuting permitted from within commutable distanceMinimum Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field plus two years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
