Job Requisition ID #24WD80132Position OverviewAutodesk is looking for a Senior QA Engineer to join our growing development teams in Toronto,Canada. You will work oncivil engineering software, such as Autodesk Civil 3D, to help engineers to design and analyze the world’s infrastructure.We are looking for individuals who are passionate about developing high quality software solutions which may combine desktop applications, web clients and cloud services.You will have a significant impact on how we design, build, and deliver our products to millions of professionals. You will report to the Engineering Manager, and work in a cross-functional team focused on test automation for various products and components. You will work on a variety of unique challenges which give you the chance to learn modern technology and grow your skills.This team works in a hybrid, flexible workplace model based in our Toronto office. ResponsibilitiesSupport automated testing, create scripts to support automation testing. And also execute manual testing wherever requiredAnalyze and decompose cross-product workflows and start designing a strategy to test themSupport developing and executing high quality test plans to deliver an amazing user experienceSupport developing test strategies that are complete and concise•Perform functional testing, regression testing, ongoing system integration, and periodic build verification tests as part of each product release cycleFind defects in features in development or products in production. Isolate, confirm, and log defects. Work with Agile Team to prioritize and fix themActively participate in Agile ceremoniessuch as sprint planning, backlog grooming, sprint retrospective etc.Work with the Agile team at improving Quality Assurance process and be an ambassador for automated qualityIdentify redundant tests scenarios and work on their automationCollaborate using tools such as Git, JIRA, and wiki pagesMinimum Qualifications3+years’ experience in Software QA, or relevant industries1-2 years experience with C# or C++ programming or willingness to learn C#/C++Passion to improve product qualityCustomer orientated approach to Quality AssuranceSome experience in software development in a commercial setting in a Scrum teamBachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering or related field.Master’s degree is desirablePreferred QualificationsExperience in complex software solutions and code basesExperience with JavascriptExperience with Git or similar source code revision control systemsKnowledge of DevOps, CI/CD pipeline and Test AutomationWorking Experience or educational background in AEC industry is a plus Tech that we use C#, C++, JavaScript, TypeScript, Cypress, Node, Docker, Python, AWS, Artifactory, CMake, JenkinsLearn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk!
