The qualified individual will lead the organization to world-class production performance by implementing and driving performance metrics, expediting new products from prototype to volume production, and create a highly–effective, continuously improving team capable of scaling with demand and new technology. Key ResponsibilitiesSupervision and Leadership:Lead, motivate and coach production team to achieve daily targets and meet quality standardsSchedule work assignments and rotations to optimize productivity and maintain efficiencyFoster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, open communication and a strong commitment to safety while complying with all company policies and proceduresProduction Oversight:Monitor production processes and equipment to ensure smooth and efficient operationsAddress production disruptions, machine malfunctions or process deviations in a timely mannerCollaborate with maintenance personnel to schedule equipment maintenance and repairsQuality Assurance:Enforce quality control measures to ensure products meet established quality standardsImplement corrective actions to address quality issues and prevent recurrencePerformance Tracking and Reporting:Maintain accurate production records, including output metrics, downtime and incidentsGenerate shift reports summarizing production achievements, challenges and improvementsAnalyze production data to identify trends and areas for enhancementSafety and Compliance:Promote a culture of safety by enforcing all company policies and proceduresConduct safety audits and training sessions to minimize workplace accidents and injuriesEnsure all employees adhere to safety protocols and use appropriate personal protective equipmentContinuous Improvement:Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process optimization, waste reduction and efficiency improvementsParticipate in root cause analysis and problem-solving activities to address operational challengesContribute ideas and initiative to enhance production procedures, quality and overall performance Desired knowledge and abilities:High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in a related field desiredProven experience in a manufacturing or production environment with at least 1-2 years of experience in a management and leadership roleExcellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to make sound decisions under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyProficient computer skills including experience with Microsoft office suiteAdditional Job Description:Compensation and BenefitsThe annual base salary range for this position is $84,000 - $135,000.This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.Broadcom offers a competitive and comprehensive benefits package: Medical, dental and vision plans, 401(K) participation including company matching, Employee Stock Purchase Program (ESPP), Employee Assistance Program (EAP), company paid holidays, paid sick leave and vacation time.
