Lead Delivery Manager

We are looking for a Lead Delivery Manager to join our Delivery Management Team at Clarivate. This is an amazing opportunity to work across various teams .We use agile in the bulk of our work but support the buildout of roadmaps and employ modified waterfall methodologies when necessary.As a Lead Delivery Manager, you will work to improve the flow of work on the team, track issues, dependencies, risks and drive continuous review and improvement.  At times, you will be asked to effectively and independently manage end-to-end medium-sized projects in addition to supporting agile exclusive scrum teams.About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishmentsMust have 7+ years of experience in Project Management including Agile methodologies.Should have exposure to technology and software development environments (you have worked within the Software Development Life Cycle).Must have 4-6 years’ experience working with team(s)/project(s) that have an approach to planning and forecasting at both ticket and project level that may require some honing and improvement to ensure best practices by the team.You should have 2-3 years of experience with Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft Teams.It would be great if you also had . . .Understanding/exposure to change management activities to support internal process changes as neededPMP certification would be a plus.What will you be doing in this role.You will act as lead level contributor to the overall delivery team including junior delivery managers.You will provide insight into improvements you’ve identified and be able to advocate for those improvements to both business and technical stakeholders.You will drive your team to deliver value, improve the flow of work & delivery of output/outcomes; and reduce the bottleneck & minimize waste. You proactively understand & manage your teams'/projects' risks, issues & dependencies.You will be facilitating and managing discussions & organize efficient, purposeful, and well-written meetings, including technical discussions, within your multidisciplinary teams as well as up/downstream dependent/contributing teams.You will be managing the partnership of Tech and Product, and are a valued escalation point for any team member and can resolve issues within your team.Your teams will have a measurable history of proactively engaging with and improving their most pressing problems; the Delivery Manager will often lead in pushing for change outside their team(s) /project(s) where it is necessary.About the Team   The Content Delivery Team supports upwards of 8 agile development teams, various project level efforts and reports into the IP Segment Delivery Management vertical.  This team is highly collaborative and relies on all team members to establish best practices and structures in support our internal customers, the delivery and product teams.Hours of Work  This is permanent position with Clarivate.
