Heading up the enterprise sales organisation in country, you will lead both sales leaders and enterprise sales account managers in recruiting, developing, coaching and retaining our talented team.You will play a hands-on role with the field sales organisation in this customer facing and highly visible position, including direct participation in closing deals at key accounts.This is an exciting opportunity to be an integral part of a dynamic and fast-growing next generation security company, and you will have the opportunity to take the business to the next level.Your day-to-day Lead a team of dedicated Enterprise Sales professionals driving new and existing enterprise customers within France and achieve (and exceed) planned bookings / revenue goals for new business, add-on business and renewals both quarterly and annuallyDefine and report on metrics to measure performance of sales activities, accurately forecast and present deal analysisDetermine resource requirements, identify significant and profitable growth opportunitiesEstablish and define both market and target prospect strategies for field enterprise salesDevelop strategic plans with tactical execution to gain wallet share from existing customers and market share from the competitionBe fully engaged in the sales process for major deals; build personal relationships with executives within the customer baseExecute on a partner plan to drive incremental revenue through the channelRecruit, develop and coach a talented team of senior sales executives and sales leaders, driving adoption of solution selling and enhancing Proofpoint as the “employer of choice” Collaborate with the Channel, Sales Engineering, Professional Services, Marketing and Support to close deals, drive revenue and adoption, and to meet and exceed customer satisfactionWhat you bring to the teamExperience in hyper growth, building out large sales organisations at scaleKnowledge of the cyber security market and current threat landscapeProven record of leading a successful Enterprise direct sales team as well as a hunger for success beyond targets and sustained growthChannel-centric in approach to go-to-market and experience of working effectively within a direct sales led and Channel-led sales organisationExpert team builder who understands winning as a team, and has the ability to inspire and create loyalty, trust and respect across not only their direct team, but also their indirect team and cross-functionallyExcellent commercial acumen and attention to detail, thinks strategically, but stays on top of tactical execution as well as the ability to lead a large and culturally diverse team in coordination with managers and through managersExpert knowledge of Sales methodology such as MEDDIC, Value Selling …Able to create a business plan, build a healthy business pipeline, accurately forecast and close businessPersonal drive, passion and enthusiasm to understand and navigate a fast-growing company striving toward market leadershipBuild influential customer relationships and demonstrate an understanding of the security threat landscape.Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with ability to conduct sales presentations and interact effectively with internal and external customers at all levels in both French and English Why ProofpointProtecting people is at the heart of our award-winning cybersecurity solutions, and the people who work here are the key to our success.  We’re a customer-focused and driven-to-win organisation with leading-edge products.
