Our Adaptive Planning application provides best-in-class planning solutions to a diverse range of customers. This role will involve working alongside other SDETs within Planning Platform teams to help evolve our enterprise SaaS application into a modern and scalable Planning solution.About the RoleYou will collaborate with Developers, System Architects, and other QA engineers on highly technical initiatives with a focus on Quality through all steps of the SDLC to prevent application and configuration related vulnerabilities. Working within our strong community of SDET’s you will also contribute and enhance test case repositories, automated tests, frameworks, and tool sets to meet best practices and standards.This role will involve working across a broad spectrum of services and functionality ensuring quality from a functional, performance, infrastructure and security perspective. You should be happy taking part in technical design discussions with other SDET’s, developers or architects to ensure a strong understanding of test scope and test approach and be comfortable asking questions and raising concerns. As an SDET you  will be responsible for raising defects, tracking the relevant fixes and deploying new builds to your test environment.  Strong interpersonal and communication skills will be required as this job involves interacting with multiple teams. You will become part of a team where Quality is considered paramount across the full engineering organisation and plays a pivotal role in deciding how we ship software.About YouBasic Qualifications: 2+ years programming in Java or similar object-oriented languagesAt least 3 years working in a QA capacityAt least 2 years working with Automation tools like Selenium and Rest AssuredExperience writing Test Strategy docsOther Qualifications:Previous years experience or a strong familiarity with CI/CDGood experience with Jenkins and/or similar orchestration tools.Previous experience of testing database changes or similar projects focused on the database layerExposure to Kubernetes, AWS, DockerA passion for learning new technologies and solving complex problems.What you will learn: Inner workings of a mature QA CI/CD pipeline process covering broad test scope and permutationsCloud native computing and how it can be leveraged to scale Quality initiativesTo share responsibility for quality with the whole Engineering teamAnd far more..Sounds interesting?
