Surrounded by extraordinary people, inspiring leaders, and world changing projects, you will do more and become more than you ever thought possible.Position Summary:Illumina is seeking a Sr Business Systems Analyst to drive solutions in Equipment & Facilities Engineering.  This is a technical application analyst role for SAP Plant Maintenance, Fiori dashboarding and mobile execution through SAP’s Asset Manager. These core components make up our Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) solution. In addition to EAM, the analyst will drive cross-functional process and system integration to other SAP modules and systems like MES. The focus of this role will be allocated to projects and quarterly releases including upgrades, new product introductions, integrations, and net new functionality delivered via application configuration and project promotions. Approximately 80% of the effort will be project and 20% is sustaining focused. The individual will serve as a Business Analysts, Developers, Super Users and End-users to ensure EAM meets Illumina’s Quality standards and industry best practices.  This role functions as an analytical business partner and is responsible for driving solutions to problems including reviewing, planning, testing, documenting, and implementing design changes within the EAM solution space.Responsibilities:Researches and provide best practice recommendations with a focus on end-to-end capabilities and impact to KPIsConduct analysis including root cause identification, development of solution proposals, and creation of business casesPartners with business to elicit, analyze, and document business requirementsTranslate business requirements into functional requirements specifications, workflows and identifies cross-functional dependenciesLeads discussion with business and technical team to collect pain points including non-functional requirements using a structured frameworkPrepares visuals to communicate and acquires buy-in on stopgaps, recommendations, and solutionsAccountable for solution meeting the agreed upon business requirements while creatively leveraging standard capabilities where possibleOperates in a self-directed capacity and independently; may act as subject matter mentor to more junior membersApplies information systems development, implementation, and operation control concepts in a wide variety of technology settings and appropriately assesses the exposures resulting from ineffective or missing controlsDevelops and deliver train-the-trainer content to a super user group and trains entry level employeesDrives the implementation and support of Illumina’s EAM SolutionAct as liaison between Technical Team and End-users and Stakeholders for troubleshooting: investigate, analyze and solve software problemsDrive monthly, quarterly or emergency changes transports as needed for high priority issues.On call as neededDesired Skills & Experience:5+ years of hands-on experience as a Business Analyst in in SAP PM and Enterprise Asset Management. Familiarity with SAP QM, PP, FICO and MM/IM/WM a plusMobile Equipment Maintenance (SAP Asset Manager or Work Manager preferred)Integrating SAP PM with MES and IOT(Experience with SAP MII, iDocs and working with middleware teams preferred)Experience with SAP iDocs, BAPI’s, Functional Modules and Configuration requiredMinimum of 5 years of experience in a full cycle ERP implementations, upgrades, or support projects as the SAP PM module expert Ability to understand business processes from a customer perspectiveAbility to deliver exceptional results in a highly collaborative cross functional environmentExperience as an industrial or process engineer is a plusExperience with enterprise analysis including development of solution proposals and creation of business casesExceptional analytical, planning, organizational and problem-solving abilitiesExpertise in requirements gathering, writing software requirements, process modeling and data mappingStrong ability to present ideas and information in group settings.  Has the ability to persuade, negotiate, and facilitate conflict resolution.Demonstrated experience in testing and test planning in FDA regulated environmentExcellent verbal and written communication skills that non-technical end users can understandKnowledge of the full software development life cycle using Agile/Scrum MethodologyHigh degree of initiative and ownership, as well as a proven history of delivering results while working with several different departments in a fast-paced environmentEducation:B.S. in Computer Science or Industrial Engineering or equivalent degreeIllumina believes that everyone has the ability to make an impact, and we are proud to be an equal opportunity employer committed to providing employment opportunity regardless of sex, race, creed, color, gender, religion, marital status, domestic partner status, age, national origin or ancestry, physical or mental disability, medical condition, sexual orientation, pregnancy, military or veteran status, citizenship status, and genetic information.
