Your tomorrow looks bright at Ubiquity.Your Role:Compliance Associate (Offshore)Compliance Associate shall be responsible in ensuring that the company adheres to rules and regulations relevant to its business by reviewing rules, laws, regulations, and policiesfrom time to time. This role also requires performing Know Your Customer (KYC) to ensure that partners and clients which the company engages are fully compliant with the relevant laws and regulations affecting their businesses. The role requires conduct of audits in areas of legal, accounting, finance, information technology, or security. Additionally, Compliance Associate shall assist in onboarding requirements with new partners by performing and completing due diligence work for and on behalf of Ubiquity.Compliance Associate performs a number of tasks, namely:● Compliance Associate analyzes potential risks within specific areas of a company in order to avoid risk and compliance issues.● Compliance Associate manages both external and internal audits as necessary. This will include reviewing records, reports, software, and any other relevant programs and activities affected by rules and regulationsin place.● Compliance Associate keeps track of any violations reported against the company and maps out plans to address these violations;● Compliance Associate will also perform background checks to potential clients and employees.● Compliance Associate accomplishes due diligence forms and completes the necessary onboarding requirements for a potential partner or client, and vice versa;● Compliance Associate reviews and updates, as needed, the existing compliance records to ensure that they remain relevant and up to date.● Compliance Associate prepares accurate compliance reports for the management team.● Compliance Associate proactively generates ideas for process improvements related to compliance efficiency in the organization.● Compliance Associate assists in handling ad hoc requests from the compliance management team, providing timely support for compliance-related inquiries.Qualifications:● Relevant experience in performing due diligence, risk analysis, and KYC.● Experience in a BPO industry is an advantage;● Trustworthy, a person of integrity, and can handle sensitive data and information with the highest degree of confidentiality.● Knowledgeable in areas of legal, compliance, information technology, and security;● Analytical thinker with the ability to identify issues and recommend solutions based on data provided;● Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to work on multiple tasks.● Willing to work on graveyard shifts and amenable to shifting schedules;● Willing to work in BGC Taguig.What we do.Recognized as the #1 CX provider for disruptors and innovators across financial services, healthcare, and e-commerce, Ubiquity was founded on the belief that our clients and their customers deserve better.
