Your main function will be to lead and execute the QA of the EMEA Tier III Support Development team. In your day-to-day work, you can expect to be part of a highly collaborative team in a Kanban environment. Working with the rest of the support team and merchants to reproduce complex issues along with high quality test cases, testing patches before merchant release. This role comes with exposure to a high degree of complexity and scale. You can also expect to spend part of your time on investigating how test automation and tooling could drive quality, as we are not merely content with solving issues, but in consistently building capabilities to preempt them. We operate a platform powered by Adobe Commerce that includes client experience, build and deploy analysis, production applications and infrastructure.What you will doTake ownership of customer escalations and drive them to completionReproduce issues and to deliver implemented fixes into the mainlineTesting back ported and debug patchesDriving continual improvements to our testing tools and practicesProvide leadership and mentoring to quality assurance engineers across our teamsParticipate in swarming activites with the extended support teamsHelp drive cross-team automation initiativesActively participate in architecture discussions and proposes solutions to system and product changesCross-team collaboration and communicationDevelop and maintain test suites for team needs.Maintain tooling for quality patches deliveryAvailable for on-call rotation, work off-hours, holiday and weekend hours as requiredWhat You Need To Succeed 5+ years’ experience in web application test development. Proven experience with PHP8 and Object-oriented programmingSolid understanding of different testing techniques and QA theoryExposure to HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQueryMySQL knowledge. Ability to read, write and analyze SQL queriesCapable of debugging complex issues using debugging toolsUnderstanding of Linux, Docker, GitExperience with API (REST, SOAP, GraphQL)Able to communicate clearly and expertly with our customersExposure to AWS, Elasticsearch, Redis, New Relic is beneficialExperience with Adobe Commerce and performance testing web applications is a huge plusAt Adobe, you will be immersed in an exceptional work environment that is recognized throughout the world on Best Companies lists.
