IT Business Consultant – Finance and Corporate FunctionsDescription -Job Summary• This role is responsible for supporting customers in implementing tailored IT solutions and facilitating relevant stakeholders’ involvement in IT projects to identify requirements, gather feedback, and finalize scope. The role involves representing the needs of the business in ongoing interactions with IT and ensuring the completion of imperative documentation and issues alerts. The role acts as an intermediary between IT and business units during implementation initiatives, participates in IT projects to include and inform business customers, and communicates IT standards and solutions to various units. The role also provides services in areas like competitive migrations and troubleshooting, contributing proactively to projects and maintaining relationships with stakeholders.Responsibilities• Supports customers in implementing IT solutions tailored to their unique business objectives and actively seeks feedback from them to refine and improve the solutions.• Collaborates with senior team members to nurture connections with key stakeholders in the business or function, leveraging specialized business acumen to facilitate productive IT interactions.• Represents the needs of the business, function, or geography on an ongoing basis to maintain consistent plans between IT and the business.• Uses standard processes and protocols to complete necessary documentation, issue appropriate alerts, and support the attainment of department functions/objectives.• Functions as an intermediary between IT and the business, function, or geographical unit throughout IT implementation initiatives.• Participates in IT projects to ensure that business, function, and geography customers are included appropriately and ensures that they receive sufficient and timely communications.• Demonstrates comprehension and execution of IT directives as well as understands and communicates IT standards and new IT solutions, processes, and policies to the businesses, functions, and geographies.• Provides services to clients in areas such as competitive migrations, hardware/software deployments, and troubleshooting customer environments.• Applies foundational principles and contributes proactively to projects through research and data analysis support, providing regular updates on accomplishments and impediments.• Supports priority projects with direction, maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders and sharing information via standardized reports.Education & Experience Recommended• Four-year Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.• Typically has 0-2 years of work experience, preferably in IT projects, process improvement, or a related field.Preferred CertificationsNAKnowledge & Skills• Agile Methodology• Automation• Business Analysis• Business Process• Business Requirements• Business Systems Analysis• Computer Science• Data Analysis• Finance• Marketing• Process Improvement• Project Management• Salesforce• SAP Applications• Scrum (Software Development)• SQL (Programming Language)• Systems Analysis• Systems Development Life Cycle• User Story• Workflow ManagementCross-Org Skills• Effective Communication• Results Orientation• Learning Agility• Digital Fluency• Customer CentricityImpact & Scope• Impacts own work and acts as a team member by providing information, analysis, and recommendations in support of team efforts.Complexity• Learns to apply basic theories and concepts to work tasks.Disclaimer• This job description describes the general nature and level of work performed in this role.
