The Senior People Business Partner will collaborate with the Sales organization to understand and align with their business goals, developing and delivering strategic talent management programs and solutions. Responsibilities include employee relations, change management, employee engagement, coaching, retention, compensation and talent management. The Senior People Business Partner is a trusted advisor and plays a critical role in nurturing the Workiva culture by promoting open communication, effective teamwork, and strong employee relations.What You’ll DoFoster effective relationships with Sales leadership and employees to understand their strategies, challenges, opportunities, and needsDevelop collaborative partnerships stakeholders and across the People & Culture team to ensure alignment and implement effective solutionsPartner with Sales leadership to proactively identify and address organizational needs, assess talent landscape, and leadership development to accelerate the achievement of business objectives and drive engagementSupport organizational design decisions and contribute to change management and communication plansAnalyze data, metrics, and trends with Sales leaders to make informed decisionsImplement employee engagement activities for the Sales organizationCoach management on employee relations, conflict resolution, policy interpretation, and management principles; Provide guidance and coaching on performance-related mattersConduct investigations and resolve employee issues while ensuring legal compliance and mitigating riskFoster an employee-centric culture, encouraging open and transparent communicationEnsure that diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging principles are woven into all People & Culture programs and solutionsActively promote Workiva’s values and principles as a foundation of company culture and behavioral expectations for every employeeWhat You’ll NeedMinimum QualificationsUndergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field6+ years progressive responsibility in human resources disciplines including employee relations, change management, compensation, organizational development, and performance developmentPreferred QualificationsPrevious experience supporting a sales organization in a People Business Partner role or closely related functionPHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification preferred Experience in a global high-growth software company preferredKnowledge and understanding of HR practices, laws, and regulationsDemonstrated ability to build trust and credibility with key business partners and all levels of employees across the companyProven ability to coach, provide guidance, and influenceExperience executing strategic initiatives and operational plansAbility to drive collaboration across all levels with the ability to bring together stakeholders that can create solutionsTravel Requirements & Working Conditions25% travelReliable internet access for any period working remotely and not in a Workiva office#LI-REMOTEHow You’ll Be Rewarded✅ Salary range in the US: $101,000.00 - $172,000.00✅ A discretionary bonus typically paid annually✅ Restricted Stock Units granted at time of hire✅ 401(k) match and comprehensive employee benefits packageThe salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this job in the US.
