Senior Technical Architect

We are seeking an experienced software and systems architect to join our global Cloud Enablement team at Clarivate. As an ideal candidate, you will possess a demonstrated track record in building and maturing SDLC capabilities. You will have an exciting opportunity to scale Platform Engineering and support our product engineering teams in accelerating the development of their product ideas. Proven experience in architecting, designing, and implementing CI/CD solutionsDemonstrated ability to lead large-scale, complex projects, resolve technical issues, and identify solutions to achieve long-term departmental objectivesStrong ability to facilitate architecture discussions with fellow architects and engineers, fostering consensus and collaborationClear and concise architecture documentation skillsA deep passion for emerging technologies and novel solutionsWhat will you be doing in this role?Design and Architecture: Develop and maintain the overall architecture of our platform, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.CI/CD Implementation: Architect, design, and implement Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to enhance our development and deployment processes.Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to the engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, software engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment between technical solutions and business objectives.GitHub Enterprise Consolidation: Lead the initiative to consolidate our development tools onto GitHub Enterprise, encompassing code repositories, CI/CD pipelines, and other developer services.Code Review and Quality Assurance: Conduct code reviews, ensure adherence to best practices, and maintain high standards of code quality.Technical Problem Solving: Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues across the platform.Documentation and Standards: Create and maintain comprehensive architecture documentation and establish technical standards and guidelines.Mentoring and Training: Mentor junior engineers and architects, providing training and development opportunities to help grow their skills and careers.Technology Evaluation: Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating their potential impact and applicability to our platform.Security and Compliance: Ensure that the platform architecture adheres to security and compliance requirements.About the Team  Our overarching mission is to accelerate the pace at which our business partners bring their product ideas to market.Hours of WorkFull-time permanent position primarily working core business hours in your time zone, with flexibility to adjust to various global time zones as needed Hybrid position working 2-3 days/week on-site Must live within a commutable distance to our Philadelphia, PA office Clarivate is an Equal Opportunity Employer Vets/Minorities/Women/Disabled
