GWS team members are directly responsible for health & safety, physical security operations, and physical security technology.About the RoleThis individual will be joining our Global Workplace Safety team and will be responsible for assisting with the development and management of Employee Health and Safety (EHS) programs. ResponsibilitiesAssist with the development, management, and implementation of Global EHS programs, trainings, and policiesAssist with compliance with federal, state, and local EHS regulations by studying existing and new legislation, anticipating future legislation, interpreting standards, enforcing adherence to regulations, and advising leadership of necessary actionsSupport building evacuation drills and emergency incidentsConduct and document incident investigationsManage and maintain injury and illness recordkeeping logsComplete safety inspections to identify potential hazards and assign corrective actionsDevelop, coordinate, and track Life Safety Team meetings and trainingsManage inspections of and supplies for first aid kits, trauma bags, automated external defibrillators, and disaster preparedness kitsMaintain internal safety and emergency information webpages.Complete ergonomic evaluations and ensure accurate documentation and recordkeepingCommunicate with internal and external business partners as needed, including the management of outside vendorsSupport the Global Workplace Safety Team with additional needs as it relates to employee health and safetyAbout YouBasic QualificationsBachelor’s degree required in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Studies/Science, or other related field4+ years of experience in EHSOther QualificationsDetailed knowledge of EHS laws and regulationsWork independently, exercise good judgment, demonstrate initiative, and possess excellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong analytical, organizational management, decision-making and interpersonal skillsOff-hour on-call support as the need arisesHighly ethical, with demonstrated ability to handle highly confidential and sensitive informationWorking knowledge and experience using computer applications to include Zoom, Slack, Microsoft Office, and G SuiteWorkday Pay Transparency StatementThe annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location.
