We are seeking a creative and dynamic media designer to support the creation and development of our online and instructor-led learning content. As a media designer, you will support the production of learning material to train our customers on the effective use of the PagerDuty platform. Based on our clients/team needs, you will leverage your strong media design skills to create innovative, multimedia-rich digital learning experiences.   The ideal candidate is a conceptual thinker with a genuine passion for design. You remain composed under pressure and always consider the overall vision without neglecting the finer details. Most importantly, you should be able to tackle every project effectively—big or small—bringing your unique creative perspective to ideating and developing ideas from a diverse range of information and exercising judgmenHybrid system, Toronto location.t to offer the most suitable solution.   Duties & Responsibilities:   Work closely with Instructional Designers and other team members to create learning assets, based on supplied storyboards and/or customers’ requirements   Create e-learning content and customer-facing learning resources (infographics, infomercials, job aids, videos, animations, etc)   Ability to convey complex technical information into digestible learning pieces with appropriate visuals   Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail with a well-developed aesthetic sense    Assist in managing workflow processes to meet quality design and communication standards.   Perform quality control of creative work to ensure content accuracy and consistency   Handle content review, approvals, and milestones to set expectations and effectively communicate the stage of the projects   Work on multiple projects simultaneously, delivering results on time in a dynamic work environment Skills and Experience:   3-5 years experience in media design, e-learning design, or a related field   Understanding of information design and data visualization principles and UX, UI concepts Understanding of design elements such as hierarchy, contrast, readability, proportion, brand standards   Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite for graphic and video creation (Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere, After Effects etc.)   Knowledge of web design language (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc) is a strong asset   Problem-solving skills and troubleshooting abilities to find solutions and ensure smooth delivery of our content   Excellent communication and collaboration skills to build and foster lasting relationships with colleagues and collaborators   Knowledge of learning authoring tools (Articulate 360) and learning management systems (Skilljar) are a plus   Ability to communicate effectively in English (written and verbal)   Hybrid system, Toronto location.   The base salary range for this position is 77,000 - 108,000 CAD. This role may also be eligible for bonus, commission, equity, and/or benefits. Our base salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range, which is subject to change based on primary work location, reflects the minimum and maximum base salary we expect to pay newly hired employees for the position. Within the range, we determine pay for an individual based on a number of factors including market location, job-related knowledge, skills/competencies and experience.
