About the job
This position is needed to support the Privacy Governance Team and report to the Director of Privacy Governance within the Legal organization. Your role will provide integral support to the Privacy team, helping them stay on track with company priorities. You will help prioritize and maintain regulatory requirements within the Privacy Governance Team and be a key player in making the Twilio privacy team successful. Additionally, you will work closely with the Privacy Legal team to implement/enhance privacy requirements within the Twilio organization.
Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll:
Maintain and enhance Twilio’s Record of Processing Activities
Enhance Twilio’s Record Retention and Deletion processes
Educate and consult with all relevant business stakeholders
Assist in the fulfillment of Data Subject Access Requests
Complete PIA/DPIA for the relevant internal business units
Develop/Enhance privacy documentation
Provide audit support
Be responsible for business facing webpages and intranet updates
Identify process improvements and assist with implementation of enhancements
Qualifications

Required:
3+ years of Privacy Experience
Experience of product privacy reviews and assessments
Experience in supporting cross functional privacy initiatives such as GDPR, CCPA or other compliance frameworks
Experience partnering with teams across the organization to conduct privacy reviews
Data Subject Access Rights knowledge and experience
AI knowledge and experience
Product Privacy knowledge and experience
Strong knowledge and experience of records management programs
Ability to engage with various cross functional business teams independently and manage work streams with limited oversight and define and operationalize privacy governance requirements within a vendor due diligence program.
Work independently to partner with teams across different parts of the organization to conduct privacy impact assessments and guide the business in implementing good data privacy practices.
Desired:
IAPP Certifications - CIPP/E, CIPM, CIPT
Other privacy qualifications/professional certifications
Location
Remote - US - Excluding Oakland, California, Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, Washington and Pennsylvania

The estimated pay ranges for this role are as follows:
Based in Colorado: $112,320 - $140,400
This role may be eligible to participate in Twilio’s equity plan and corporate bonus plan.
All roles are eligible for the following benefits: health care insurance, 401(k) retirement account, paid sick time, paid personal time off, paid parental leave.
